I became a member at the Fayetteville branch when it first opened. I moved to Liverpool about 8 years ago and started coming to this branch.
I enjoy the fact that it’s small and not overwhelming.
My only negative comment is that the individuals
that share the office in Cardio Room are not very welcoming, when they do come out of the ripen they do not acknowledge or greet members when they walk by one of them always has his eyes glued to his phone. A small greeting goes a long way
Everyone else is always pleasant and welcoming.
The variety of classes
Very nice and polite staff. I always love to go there
I wish it stays open late on Saturday and Sunday
The pools
very freindly staff and gym equipment was clean
Great facility and people
Kristin C. is an excellent yoga instructor who brings an immense amount of kindness, encouragement and expertise to each class! Her cues are very helpful, she helps guide proper form and modifications, and always greets attendees in a warm and inviting way!
The people there are all friendly and helpful and the facility is nice - I like the updates that have been happening
Friendly staff, clean facility and a wide variety of activities.
The NW Y is a huge asset to the greater B'ville and Clay area as it offers activities for infants through seniors. Whether it's pickle ball, therapeutic water therapy, cycling classes, childcare during a workout, art classes, or just a place to gather for companionship, NW Y has it. I'm 69 years old and still playing in their basketball league (I haven't taken up pickle ball yet!). Since opening our Texas granddaughter looks forward to summer at the NW Y. She's taken basketball lessons, pottery classes, and swim lessons. When I return home after work, first words out of her mouth are "can we go to the Y tonight?" Young and old, geriatric or infant, there's always something exciting going on!

I am usually at the Southwest YMCA at least 3 days a week to walk the track. I bring a friend to walk and one of the reasons is the friendly staff at the front desk. Naosha, Kevin & Kaleigh. They help my friend with his YMCA card getting into the Y and are always very helpful if I have a question.
They go above and beyond being courteous with a wave, a hello and a goodbye.
You are blessed to have them as employees

Great Les Mills classes and instructors.
