The young man doing the inspection. He listened attentively to my concerns. Spent more time than previous inspector. I am, however concerned about the report they sent. I had extensive previous old damage from when I rented this house. The manager came out and requested my contractor rip off good plywood that I had to pay for to see old damage.
All of this was repaired but I am concerned that due to this termites has in their files that they can easily not help with valid claim if ever have one. I did find active termites in a log under ground near one of the traps. The inspector told me that that was one of the traps they replaced. I am concerned that the traps are not being sufficient against termites and I will be denied claim if I ever have one.
I also has garage turned into great room and they told me they could not insure against termite damage. The inspector did take his time too come inside great room to see if any evidence of termites. I appreciated that but there was terminology on report sent to me that I don’t understand that I would like to understand.
I am happy with terminex and am trying to get friends to change to y’all. Thanks.
