This is the first time that I was not pleased with a Terminix service person after being a customer for seven years. Our service person was friendly and pleasant, but he was only there to inspect for any termite activity.
Our home is on a slab and after he inspected the interior of our home, he was ready to leave. He told me that he had attended training on inspection procedures and he learned that there is no need to inspect the exterior of houses that are on a slab. I was not sold on that idea since we had termites in our closet a couple of years ago that came in from the outside and there was a tunnel on the exterior of our home when the crew came to treat the affected area. After I explained my concern and after I told him that my neighbor had termite activity in his garage, he agreed to inspect the outside of my house as well as the garage area.
I have never had to ask a service person to inspect outside as well as inside and I was surprised and disappointed that I had to ask for this to be done this time.
