Member Testimonials
I come to the Y to workout in a no-stress environment and enjoy a wonderful sense of community and friendliness. I do not participate in any of the classes, but from my observation all are popular and well attended. I also see a great commitment on the part of the staff to support the membership and look for ways to expand the Y experience.
That they have variety of activities and they work at dirt paced.
Variety of choices.
Clean, pleasant atmosphere, good working machines, friendly people
I like that there is a spin class on Saturday mornings
Group exercises, family swim

I love the diversity in age, cultural heritage and abilities. I appreciate the kindness and friendliness of the members and staff. It is a really nice place to work and to work-out!
Good variety of equipment. Friendly and helpful personnel. Decent sized parking lot. Reasonable hours of operation.
I'm not involved in any group activity at this time, but I have participated in them earlier in my membership (mainly yoga). I've been a member since 1989 (although my card says 1991). Still coming for strength workouts a couple of times a week. Yeah!!!
Great gym - loads of diverse classes and great instructors!
I am a limited user of the Y. Just go there most days to use the cardio and strength equipment. The staff is uniformly very friendly and helpful and it is a pleasure to use the facility. It would be great if a sauna and a steam room were offered at you location on Quito Road.
camaraderie of the staff
Great variety of classes - lots of rooms for individual classes at the same time. Love the Glitz and Tai Chi classes. Instructors for both are great and explain things well. One of the staff from South Valley transferred here, so we enjoy seeing a familiar, friendly face! Worth the occasional drive from our home YMCA for all of the above reasons.
Location, great check in personnel, not overly crowded, classes… Wish more dance classes.
Teachers are very professional and friendly. Staffs are helpful! ^_^
Variety of exercise programs, and different times to fit with my schedule,
I like all the classes and swimming program
Variety, So many options in classes, ways of exercise. And great staff.
The Y is a great place not only to work out but to also socialize and get to tall to other folks and that's very important especially after the long couple of years of quarantinning at home. We appreciate the group exercises, the instructors and the staff.
Bolly X is so much fun. And All stuff is nice .
Welcoming classes. Clean and usually acceptable temperature pool. Availability of Kids Club and Parents Night out!
Trx, body pump, body balance.
Bollywood dancing
Need more advanced yoga classes, maybe power yoga. Ones now start too slow and 1/4 class ,basic stretches not yoga. Maybe need younger more advanced yoga teachers who do more flow w yoga. More like if you went to a yoga studio as the weren't doing restorative. All direct yoga titled classes are restorative in my book.
The Southwest YMCA has exactly what I need.
The egym weights and cardio room— treadmills, etc.— are perfect.
The staff are very friendly and make me feel welcome. It has a small town feel.
Love your classes and friendly staff
