really like our instructor and the focus on fundamentals and safety. the last class i did just sang songs, which was fun, but it didn't feel like we learned any skills

No judgement! Too many gyms are full of young wannabe influences. The Y was there during my sons' childhood, a safe, comfortable environment, and now it's there for Nanas and grandchildren. The staff is helpful, kind and professional. I'm so happy to be back.
Facility is well-maintained and clean . Not a very large facility, but strives to accommodate many different age groups and interests. Very friendly staff.

The Y is so much more than just a gym. It's a place to make new friends and have great experiences. The varied classes ensure I never get bored and have constant new challenges. From working out on the machines to swimming with the "Girls", and even reading the latest books, there's never a dull moment!!
