I like the energy and enthusiasm of the teachers and the variety of classes you offer. I would like to suggest you add a few more options on Tue and Thu evenings, like Body Attack, Body Pump and Body Flow.
Always new ideas for fun ways to exersize and great children’s programmes.
LOVE e-Gym!!!!!! LOVE all the recumbent bike's. Love the warm indoor pool!!!! Very impressed with the breadth of classrooms & workout/exercise rooms available
Plenty of equipment so rarely have to wait, gym for basketball, pool for summer, exercise classes.
I use the El Camino Y for my upper body workout. I appreciate the array of exercise machines and free weights available and am happy that I have been able to find times when the equipment is not 100% occupied. I am an old guy and realize that many Y members, particularly older ones, are looking for community but that is not my objective. I want efficient exercise and am happy that fellowship has not yet become the Y's only objective.
That said, I have been involved with the Y since teaching swimming and running youth programs since I was an undergraduate. I value making the Y available to young people as a positive institution and outlet for activity and it is for that reason that I donate.
Finally, I appreciate the local Y's nonsectarian approach and appeal in spite of the institution's religious related background. I have been a Y member in other parts of the country where I have found an overt religious push off-putting.
Keep up the good work!
