YMCA membership 60 years and counting! Recently visited a Y in Grand Haven and Bay City is above and beyond their Y. Keep up the good work Bay City!
Dow Family YMCA is the nicest YMCA facility i have seen as i have traveled the country with my military career. Huge multi-purpose pool area, great big upstairs with the 24/7 access is amazing. So many programs and opportunities to learn/exercise and socialize with new friends as a new person in the Bay City area. Very excited about my new membership at this YMCA facility. Anna Fortier was extremely helpful getting my membership set up. Thank you Anna.

Pool access
The staff are very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to custodians to class instructors. The water exercise classes are great. The upstairs fitness area has a lot of different options.
The Kidzone and 24 hour room are what I use and I'm very pleased with both. The hours for the Kidzone are a big draw, as I get flexibility on workout times.

The people are like family. I’m always happy to see them. Everyone is friendly, helpful and encouraging. The building is clean and there is a great variety of classes for every level of member.
Love the track and variety of machines. Always fun going to the Y and running in to friends and family!

Cleanliness, available classes and equipment,
Classes for senior are the best. Rob, Will, Karen and Anna. They are all different but makes you work all parts of your body. If you can't do something they will tell you other way to do it or you can just move but they don't point you out, they just talk to every one because if one person has trouble with an exercise others do to. After you do different things each time you go, it keeps getting easier.
The people, and the staff. EVERYTHING
The great variety of equipment, the track…really anything people would want. It is the members that make it great, like family!
