She is aware of my need to speak up a little more, explain things in layman terms, & has calming facial expressions- all Senior needs.
If she doesn’t know the answer to the barrage of questions, she will say so & refers me to my Nephrologist because that question is more likely less about the kidney function. All in all- I’m so glad I was referred to her for my follow ups.

Dr. Shaw listened to me. My previous Urologist was dismissive. Dr. Shaw LISTENED. He ran some simple,
standardized tests that found I was not crazy. He gave me choices and WE mapped out a plan. He brought me into the decision-making, and for that I am grateful.
We followed the plan and my procedure was MIND-BLOWINGLY successful.
We are still on the path towards healing, but I am confident in Dr. Shaw’s wisdom and expertise.
