I wish we could give this company, and most especially our point of contact, a 20 out of 10. Our story began in Charlotte NC where a friend of ours who works for CarePatrol there referred us to the CarePatrol team in Jacksonville to help us with my brother-in-law. We had no idea how to start this journey and had no idea that a company like this existed. From our first call with Erika G. we felt like the weight of the world was lifted off of our shoulders. Andy had been diagnosed in January with AML and had been in the hospital for nearly 2 months. He was recovering after chemo but needed a Rehab Hospital to gain strength and then an Assisted Living place as he awaits a bone marrow transplant. Erika stepped right in and took over all of the work of vetting both of these types of places for us, connecting with their staff and the staff at the hospital, requesting evaluations (and reevaluations) of Andy, arranging tours, getting us information, etc. Whatever was needed - she did it so that we could concentrate on getting Andy well enough to leave the hospital. She was always available to talk, answer questions, listen to our concerns. She is an angel in disguise and we are forever grateful for her help and support. Andy made it through the Rehab Hospital and is doing well at the Assisted Living home. He has his first visit with the outpatient oncologist today to discuss next steps towards the transplant. I don't know how we would have managed the road to the Rehab Hosptial and Assisted Living facility with out Erika and CarePatrol. Thank you for everything you did for us and for Andy.

Erika G was amazing. She has endless patience and impressive talent for matching dad to the right places for him to live in his journey through his later stages in life not only once, but twice so far in the last year. Our search would have otherwise been very daunting. She is extremely organized and put our minds at ease through the whole process, sent information on the best facilities that best matched our needs and budget, and coordinated all appointments and contacted all facilities once we made our decision. I also like the fact that Care Patrol includes data sheets on each property beforehand so we can make decisions to see a property beforehand based on comparative information, which saves a lot of time and made the process of finding a home for Dad much less overwhelming.
I would definitely recommend CarePatrol. In fact I have already recommended them to a coworker who is going through a similar situation. Erika has been awesome and her being there when we needed her most has been a blessing for us.

I had already chosen a community based on the recommendations I gave my CarePatrol advisor. When I made a comment about something as we were leaving, she realized that I might not be completely happy there. She asked me about considering a community a little farther away than the area I wanted, and explained why she thought I would like it. Wow! Was she right!! This had everything I wanted and more! It’s a little longer drive for my daughter to visit, but I’ll have so many more friends and so much more to do!
