Mathnasium did a great job of getting our daughter back on track with her math concepts/skills. We used both the in-person and virtual options which made it super easy to attend!
My 10 yr old son attended for school year and basically had to start with the basics when he started Mathnasium. The went 3 days a week most weeks both in-center and virtual and showed so much improvement! I could hear his teachers when he was virtual and they were so patient and helpful when my son felt overwhelmed.

Spoiler Alert: THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Even before COVID, access to quality resources was important. Now, more than ever, kids are behind or do not access because of the massive changes with educational focus and resources.
Remote learning has become a new normal, and remote really does make it easier to find the best program, no matter where they are located. We are in Washington State, and the availability of sessions offered are PERFECT for our kids to take advantage of.
We looked all over, even locally for the right environment and skill level of mentors, and by far, this location is the best. You can see that the owner really makes a difference, Andrea has so much experience and dedication to education, it shows. The quality of their mentors is superb, my son is in 8th grade, working on Geometry, and almost done, putting him 2 years ahead of in-school learning plans. Every single mentor he has worked with has been fabulous, interactive, professional, yet engaging. He’s typically a bit socially shy, but all the mentors have developed an ease and conversational dialogue with him, only helping more to provide him the guidance he needs.
They have helped him to not only “pass” but really understand the concepts and functions of math to really learn. I am serious, it really does not matter where you live, or what level your child is at today, the Shelby Lakeside Mathnasium is the perfect choice for you and your child, if you want to empower them to succeed and retain the knowledge.

Our family had a wonderful experience at Mathnasium. All of our children experienced growth and the instructors were a pleasure to work with!
Flexibility and knowledgeable tutors is key! The Shelby Township location offers virtual tutoring which helps with our busy schedule. It’s a total game changer! I don’t think we could ever transition back to a tutor that was not virtual. Their center also offers late tutoring sessions at 7pm and that is also convenient. The tutors are knowledgeable and really help our child understand math better.
Mathnasium is a good tutorial program for children.

Mathnasium is an excellent source for additional assistance. The instructors take the time to get to know your child and figures out the best way to help them learn. My daughter was a D student Freshman year in High School, after 3 months she was receiving all A's. She is now in her second year of college and still receiving assistance from Mathnasium on a as needed basis. I highly recommend, worth every penny!!!!
I appreciate the patience of the people tutoring my son. Keeping him engaged, even when he is frustrated. They are very understanding when it comes to scheduling, especially making changes on the day of the appointed time frame...because of my work schedule. I appreciate all of them. They help my son with using his learning style and also guide him for new learning techniques for his future. He has Asperger's and has difficulty with change at times, I have not had any negative comments from my son interacting with the tutors. Andrea Holtz Marble is spectacular!!

Tutors really help simplify math for my child. She has less stress taking tests and completing homework. As her parent, I was never good in Math....Lol! So I can’t help her and neither can my husband. So THANK GOODNESS Mathnasium is there to bridge the gap!
