I have been participating in the Silver Sneakers Active Older Adults program and credit Linda for the excellent job she does providing exercises to help with coordination, balance and strengthening among other things. She demonstrates, explains and offers suggestions for alternatives for those having difficulty. She is very watchful and is always aware of any participant that may be having difficulties.
This class is only offered on Mondays and Wednesdays and I would really enjoy attending on Fridays if it were offered.
The different pools, Jacuzzi and all the activities and classes available for all ages and we feel safe.
The friendly atmosphere from the staff and members. It’s a terrific way to make friends as you work out together.

I like the older adult group exercise class with instructor, Linda. It’s motivational, fun & a great workout. The YMCA offers a lot of programs & the employees are friendly & helpful.
I love meeting new friends! I like going in the Therapy pool , the exercise room . Always a fun time at the ymca !

I really like the Davis YMCA. My only complaint is that some members "hog" stationary weight equipment such as the back extension and abs machines. Maybe the YMCA could post a sign asking member to limit themselves to two sets while other members are waiting. I've seen these types of signs at other gyms and I think they nudge people to consider others.

The YMCA always offers a great experience.
The staff is always friendly, professional, and helpful. Equipment is always clean throughout the facility. Wife and I have made many 'exercise friends' at the Y, including the staff! We recommend membership to anyone who wants or needs to exercise, and who doesn't need to?
