Chair yoga
I belonged to this YMCA years ago with my children and decided to come back with my grand daughter. We love the family friendly atmosphere, the cleanliness the upgrade in programs available and of course the outdoor pool.
You have wonderful lifeguards and staff members.
I like the racial/cultural diversity of your members.
The pools are very nice.
I like the Y, but you need to find a class to take the space of Blaine. He was unusually good at what he did, but you need to find someone for that time slot who has a class like that.

Ransburg swim is the best! The instructors are very patient with the children and allow them to have fun in the water.

The instructors are friendly and welcoming. The facility is good.
The attention each student gets us fantastic, the space in the pool is great for class. The knowledge of the instructors is also great. My son likes the class at Ransburg better than all the other swim classes he’s taken.
I very much appreciate the active older adults classes. They provide social as well as physical support.

Pool
The body in motion class at 6:15AM with Bertha is fantastic. This is all due to Bertha. She is not only excellent in teaching and knowledgable about the class but she also makes everyone feel welcome and included. She includes humor in her class and is always there on time each and every class. The class has grown from just a few of us in the beginning to an average of 12.

Swimming pool, but 90° is a bit warm. 85° would be warm enough.
I miss your yoga program that used to be part of a regular membership.
It's great to have a YMCA nearby: safe atmosphere, good, clean equipment, and friendly folks who work there. Many years ago I belonged as a kid, shortly after the Y was built, and I learned to swim there. Interestingly, the first director of the Eastside Y, Mr. Kimmel, lived on Woodside Avenue just behind the Y. My family also lived on Woodside, so I could easily walk there-right by Mr. Kimmel's house. Now, I live in Irvington and rejoined the Y using my Silver Sneakers membership. What a great benefit!
Everyone is so nice and helpful.
I enjoy Silver Sneakers classes and all of the different games that are offered. Plus the Sock Hop was a blast.

I love that most classes are included in the membership, there are multiple locations to visit, staff are friendly and is welcoming for ALL!
There's quite a few of them
I was only in the pool and shower area and found it very clean and refreshing.
I like that the outdoor pool is open longer hours so swimmers can work out when it works for their schedules.
