I like the gym and water aerobics. The gym has enough equipment and open spaces that allows for a variety of different types of workouts
Deep water Water aerobics is a unique class bc not many Y’s offer this fun class
Wonderful instructors for group exercise classes! Jenn, Piyo instructor, inspires and motivates everyone in the class. She offers modifications so that every participant feels challenged as well as successful. Denise is another instructor whose class i frequent. Her energy is contagious and I always do more than I think I can with her encouragement.
We are thankful for the Jordan YMCA and staff.
The facility has great options for working out, a nice size locker room with sauna, and several racquet courts.
I enjoy the YMCA. Over the course of many years we have taken advantage of youth sports programs, summer camps and the gym.
As a frequent gym user, I have a few thoughts on some things I have observed.
1. Especially now in flu/cold season, it concerns me that not everyone cleans the equipment after use. Unfortunately, at times, this includes instructors with their clients during training sessions.
2. Along the same lines, there are often not enough sanitizing bottles available in the gym especially if a class is ongoing upstairs. Can the room upstairs not have a dedicated set so as to balance out the supply.

Open swim but do not like when they have classes going on during open swim. Not fair for the people waiting to get in due to other scheduled classes.
Open swim should be just that and not having any class sessions to take up space on either end of the pool.
Places to meet other people, if desired. Privacy allowed, if desired. In other words, a person is encouraged to be themselves by friendly and courteous staff.

Equipment and hours
I have a personal trainerwhom I do like . That's all I do at the Y
Fitness classes for seniors. Excellent instructors - Trudy, Sharon, Angie, etc.
I mostly use the gym and the swinging pool. However, it’s not an activity, but the sauna is very good. In addition, the woman at the front desk. I think her name is Jayne is nice to check in with.
YMCA has many program options at various times.
offerings for the whole family, diverse patronage, clean facilities, kind staff
The Y is for everyone, from babies to seniors.

Instructors and workout classes are the best.
Variety
Variety of classes and events.
Love the Y and the programs. I am older am my kids are grown up. When they were little they were in multiple programs over the years. My parent join this Y in 1960. I was in numerous programs when I was a kid. The Y is a great asset to the community.
Only problem I have is I use the fitness center. I want to get in and get in my work. People will sit on equipment for an extended period of time and text on their phone. Please put in a no texting policy while you are on equipment.

Your classes for active older adults. Mary Ann and Angie are good instructors.
Your current schedule is difficult to read because some of the letters and numbers are not visible. Your previous schedule was very easy to read

You have a lot to choose from, too be engaged and fit.
I like the exercise equipment and the people are friendly. It is easy to get in and out and I can
pick the times when I go. Everyone is willing to answer any question that I have.
Gym routines
Absolutely wonderful workout environment, great atmosphere and positive energy. Awesome staff, very helpful. Just wish old towels were still around 😉 Yes I would recommend this particular Y to anyone who asked. 10/10
Exercise equipment that's available and Mary Anna Hunt's Balance and Flexibility class.
We like the activities and programs themselves but, the people who run the programs and put them on are what my wife and I like best.

Coach Cory has been a huge hit with the Northside Kindergarten class! Thanks for welcoming our kids into the Y and providing this great opportunity for them to move and learn some about sports.
I have only been a few times to the cardio and weights room but have been happy with my experience.
