My daughter has been learning swimming for last 4 years from the Avon YMCA. The coaches and instructors are amazing. They truly care and want to see the kids succeed at all levels of Swimming.
Clean, quiet
The facility is very clean, has nice equipment and the staff members are very helpful and friendly. I am recovering from a knee and shoulder replacement and the YMCA has all the equipment to help me through my rehab.

My child didn’t just learn to swim at the YMCA, she learned skills that will last her a lifetime. She’s learned about teamwork and supporting others. She’s had excellent role models. She’s been afforded an opportunity to flourish and grow, while still being her silly self, and I know she’s safe and cared for. All this has happened through the YMCA Aquatics at Hendricks Regional Health, and Debra Williams is to thank.
Engaged instructors ate phenomenal
One of the programs now is obtaining new members. The one problem I see is that the main entrance has a bunch of black spots on the concrete before the automatic doors. This is an eye sore when bring in guest vising the facility. If the black spots could be removed this would be a pleasant mind set to new prospects members. Also place a trash receptacle and maybe a flower pot or display.
