Dynamic Dance and linedancing

They are great !!! I Love it ❤️

1. The variety I can get at one facility: line dancing, belly dancing, step class, bodypump, Zumba, yoga options ,virtual bodypump for the times I've had to miss Tami class.
2. The caliber of instructors at Franz Ross is incredibly :Charles R, Margaret G, Jacque (Belly dance), Tami (Bodypump), Kyle (Zumba). And also there was a zumba sub ,I think her name is Nancy -she is fantastic as well
3. The Front Desk is always cheerful and greet me - that makes a HUGE impact on me wanting to workout. When I first started attending, just walking in the door was a Win for me . If the front desk staff was rude , indifferent, snooty then it would've been harder to get past that attitude.
4. You have creative ways to build friendship and community - pitch in lunches, cookie exchange, Monster Mash Ball. I moved here a year ago with no friends or family and Franz Ross YMCA helped me build a network of friends . I've seen recent widows crying in several classes and the genuine support people give to them is moving. This past year of my move to Florida and seeing other people struggle made me realize how a "Healthy " lifestyle is not just about muscles and movement - it has to include being a part of a Community.
Thank you Franz Ross - you have no idea how much positive impact you made on me !

Group classes and kids programs

I love that I can not only attend cycle classes but also Donna and Christine’s yoga classes at Franz Ross. Many gyms in this area provide only weight lifting and treadmills without classes.

I like the equipment, lockers, showers, pool, hot, and most of all, I love the Steam Room!!!

Because of my health issues the arthritis pool classes are perfect for me. I attend the 10:30 am classes with Jan who is a superb teacher. She keeps up moving for the 45 minutes so that I feel like it is worth my membership. Her process is good for me yet allows for all to follow according to their speed and need. I used to attend the 9:30 am classes with Joyce and would love to still take up that class but because of my health issues, most days I would not be able to make it to the "Y" by that time. Her classes were also great and I recommend them to others who are interested.

The only warm indoor pool in Southwest Florida!!!! You can meet the Nicest People!!!!

I like the excise machines all work as they should if marked repair they are soon back in order the staff are very polite and always welcome you entering and if not busy wish you a nice day the other patrons seem happy and easy to talk with and the work rest bathrooms are clean and tidy, I have never used the pool area but like everything else all looks in good shape.

Zumba but would like a class at 1:00

Love the atmosphere that’s been created. I enjoy seeing all ages. As well as people with some degree of handicap or age.
There are a wide variety of programs to take advantage of. I usually work out on weights and treadmill.
You’ve sent up a great place.

I like the overall availability of equipment in your facilities. I usually have no problem with using the equipment but I find the pool hours at the Port Charlotte location to not be user friendly. I am usually there in the afternoon and the pool seems closed for long periods of time.

Lots of programs to choose from, great instructors and equipments. Enjoy this YMCA a lot!

Love the cycling classes and the cardio fusion yoga!!

I enjoy the AOA classes with trained instructors. Fun, music, singing and fellowship.

Appreciate the professional trainers available to help use equipment properly.

Entire staff is friendly and helpful.
