We have not signed up for any of the programs yet but my husband and I use the weight machines 2 or 3 times a week and find them to be very beneficial. We also use the treadmills which we enjoy.
I love the outdoor bootcamp class.
I also enjoy Les Mills Body Combat with Jennifer.

A good selection of Les Mills classes, easy reservation process, as long as you are on time during snow bird season.
I do think the current cycle room, while functional, is a miss. Too narrow, long, congested and dank. Sorry, had to get that out there.
I like the variety of activities and the instructors for the classes are all excellent people. The repair work done after IAN has been great and the YMCA looks brand new. Good job to all the people that work for the YMCA in Englewood.

I find the staff and patrons friendly and helpful. The classes, Les Mills, are just what the doctor ordered to help me have the best health possible.

I like all the classes, especially the Parkinson oriented classes. I go to Spinning for Parkinson, Rock Steady boxing, and Parkinson exercise class. I also go to Cardio Drumming, Zumba Gold, Active older Balance class, Enhanced Fitness, and Core Strength class. I love Chair Yoga on Friday at Port Charlotte. Most days I leave for the Y about 9 and don't get home until almost 4. All the staff at the Y are awesome. I fight Parkinson's with as much exercise as I can do -- The Y is a godsend for me!
