Convenient
I have Parkinsons disease. The number one treatment is exercise so I spend several hours a day at the Englewood Y. I go to Cardio Drumming, Senior Cycle, Parkinson Exercise Class, Zumba Gold, AOA Classic, and Arthritis Plus water aerobics. In addition I go to the Venice Y for AOA Balance and Rock Steady Boxing. I have met so many wonderful people at the Y. As a Mentor through Neurochallenge.org I often provide information to others with Parkinson. This year in fact I got my certifications, hired by the Y as a part time Fitness Instructor, and help teach several of these classes! I love the Y!
I enjoy yoga class and the new equipment in the gym.

I enjoy the classes, especially dance fit, drumming and Zumba. I recently recommended the Y to friends and they joined with a family membership.
There is a large variety and times to meet everyone's needs. The instructor;s are great!
I appreciate the different classes for all ages. The Lunch and Learn programs are a great source of education for the Senior community. The program for teaching children to swim truly is a life saver. The dance classes help all the people that love to move to a beat. Trivia, Book club and Mahjong address a population that may not be to considered Gym enthusiasts.
