Format and instructors are excellent.
Racquetball
Just a great place.
Everything
Love the senior group exercise classes, the pool, and my personal trainer Lucia.
There’s such a variety of programs available
Wide variety of programs for all levels. Instructors are very qualified and provide excellent classes. I’d especially like to mention Michelle Worley-yoga; Susan Downing, Eva , who does body shred and Val, who teaches spin.
Plenty of equipment for everyone.
Everyone is treated with respect.
Classes are scheduled well throughout the day.
1-criticism. The bikes with blue handles in spin room need REPLACED. No one will use them. The bikes in the spin room need to undergo periodic maintenance.
I like your facility because its clean and equipment selection is great. People at desk are friendly

I like the yoga teachers a lot.
Just about all
Water exercise. Great teacher Bonnie
Plentiful and much to offer
People in general seem to enjoy them, though, I personally haven't used them.
Group classes and great teachers
The facility is clean well staffed and gave an outstanding number of classes.
Love the swim team! Coach David does a great job and has a good way with the kids. Y needs to get word out to nearby elementary schools to encourage team growth.
1. Chair yoga constantly overfilled (although reservation window was increased )and attendees' complaints ignored. Mat yoga is problematic for the many older seniors in their 70s and 80s with very common knee and hip problems who need a CHAIR. This class should be daily. Here I must ask you not to forget the older seniors. There is often a big difference between the seniors in their 60s and early 70s and those 75 and above who want and need classes tailored for them.
2. Aqua gym should be offered at more times than 8:45 and more varied. (See Palmer Ranch offerings.) When I started at the Y a couple of years ago the offering was much better on Saturday and twice daily.
3 . Tai Chi for seniors would be a good addition.
4. The steam room even before current problem never offers enough steam to the room. I think the boiler is too small.
5. Sauna: People are entering the sauna in their sweat pants and shirts and street shoes. And, are the wooden seats and floor ever scrubbed?
6. A compliment to your friendly and helpful reception crew. Also to the blond lady that does a good job cleaning the whole Y.

I find the experience of exercising with my peers motivates me to excel and persevere in maintaining a healthy mind, body, and spirit.
The facilities at the Venice Y are modern, clean and well maintained.
My only criticism or suggestion I would make is the locker room could use a remodeling and an upgrade.
