Attitude of the people, cleanliness, range of machines, what I don’t like our members who use their phones on speaker while doing exercise. I think there should be more signs that ask members “if they want to use your phone please go outside“.

Spin class is my main reason for YMCA membership. I usually take the 9 am class 5 to 6 times a week.

I love Bonnie Judy & her water aerobics class!! I try to come in 30 minutes early for her class so I can use some of weight machines. I'm not always faithful to those but usually faithful to Bonnie's class.

I like that the Y is a group of individuals like myself, older, but wa ting to stay healthy. Love all the classes especially Jan's aerobics dance class T/T/S at 9am. Also love Sherry's class because it's later in the day & incorporates dance, weights, balance & bands to peppy music. Appreciate all the equipment that's available & that we have a sauna which l us daily to rid toxins & extra sodium. Hope the steam room.will one day be up & running. The Venice Y is clean & tidy with less clutter now & that's appreciated. The only disappointment is the pickleball accommodations & program. Indoors is great because of the intense heat but availability is lacking. Have been a member for 11 years & come daily so love the Y!!!!
I love Pilates with Jamisue! She is encouraging and fun and it makes me want to exercise.
My sister and I are caregivers for our Mom. I love the pool though I’m not a swimmer. I can take advantage of the cardio-splash and aqua zumba classes from 8:45 am until 9:45 am. Sometimes, I come early and stay late with my goal being 460 minutes a week. The YMCA is a comfort zone.
Mainly I just use the exercise equipment on the second floor as far as equipment exercise.
I do try to swim laps 2-3 times a week and the jacuzzi afterwards and then shower. The pool is a good temperature, the jacuzzi is clean and powerful. The showers get a lot of daily use but are kept pretty clean.
I also sign up for Leslie Carlson’s balance class which is well run and helps me.
The machines are standard and quite satisfactory. The sauna is quite nice and the Jacuzzi is amazing!
It might be nice if the noisy room door was closed while everyone else is exercising, but that’s just minor. No biggie.
