Great staff and good course planning

I was scare when I first saw how deep was the pool for my kids, since they have been always in Chester, the difference is big. But the team make feel calm and secure to let my daughters to take the classes with them.

Each of my children at varying levels of experience and skill had very positive experiences! The instructors were gentle and kind and consistent.

The instructors were super nice and helped keep the kids positive and engaged. My son was terrified but warmed up quickly once he met the instructors and group. Yesterday was my son’s first class so take my feedback as a grain of salt. The only thing I didn’t like was that there were 3 instructors, and one instructor had 4 kids(my son was in this group) and the other two instructors had 3 kids split between them. I felt that my son and the other kids in his group had more time sitting on the side of the pool than in the water because of not being evenly distributed between instructors. If we could make sure that each child is getting the same amount of instruction and pool time that would be excellent. Again, it was the first class!

I am very impressed with the intermediate swim instructors! My daughter is steadily improving her swimming and has a great time!

Nice group activity for toddlers

We have only completed a few days, but the the teacher to student ratio is excellent. The teachers are aware of their surroundings. They pay attention to the child's abilities instead of assuming each student is the same.

Friendly , knowledgeable associates

Swim classes have been great so far and utilizing the outdoor pools as a family have been wonderful (this is our second summer here). The lifeguards are friendly and very attentive. Our middle daughter has a cognitive delay and one of the lifeguards actually climbed down from the tower to talk to her (when our family was the only family in the kiddie pool at the time). That really meant a lot to us!

The variety offered

Your staff was so kind and helpful. I had an epic mom fail and forgot a towel, and they found one and let me use it without making me feel stupid!! Great customer service

Great program! Especially the Program Director John. He is really accommodating and exhibits excellent customer service to ensure the children and parents are well taken care of.

The connection the instructors have with their students and their energy through the lessons

We have been very pleased with the Aquatics coordinator and his communication with us during the swim lesson program. We are also very pleased with the swim coaches; they are great with the kids, and everyone is having a great time!

Offer time for kids and families after work/school hours

Everyone is so supportive and encouraging! They make you feel like you can actually learn to swim no matter your age or ability!

The pre-school age swim lessons are very organized, with a clear format that my child really likes!

My grandson is only 15 month old, this was perfect class for him. It is a small class, easy to follow the instructions of the teacher. Kristine is a great teacher, she is passionate and very knowledgeable and very sweet person. Kristine makes the class fun and playful.
I will definitely recommend this class to all new parents with small kids

It was our first swim lesson and the team at the Y did a very good job of pushing our son the appropriate amount. It was our third try for stroke lessons in the area and this one worked. I'm looking forward to seeing his progress.

Instructors are very attentive and patient. They have multiple instructors available which makes me feel that my child is safe.
