I have a toddler that's doing swim lessons with Miss Banana and Brad! They are absolutely spectacular! Some people know how to work with kids and some people don't and these two have got it down! We're driving 45 minutes for swim lessons just because of Miss Banana.
The difference times you have available. Need more soccer teams. Example I just noticed your sign outside about soccer sign up until may 24. When I asked about it all the slots are taken and now we have to wait until next time.
Chester's swim instructors for little kids are the best! And it's great that it's the same instructor each week as opposed to switching them around like you see at some other Y's.

Swim lessons very organized. One child wouldn’t follow directions about not sitting on edge of pool. They were very stern but he still wouldn’t listen

I like YMCA classes because they have several classes that I can pick from that would fit into my schedule and they are a bit more affordable then other places.
I do wish that the instructors were a bit more consistent in how the classes are taught. We have signed up for classes several months now and it has been hard to feel like I know what to expect month to month. Some months every single class is identical which makes me feel like the instructor only knows enough to follow a script. Some classes are dynamic and it seems like we work on things a bit differently each class which makes it feel like I'm in a class with an instructor that really knows what they are teaching.
Overall I have been able to accomplish my main goal of keeping my son in the water so that he doesn't develop a fear of water. He has made great progress in becoming more comfortable in the water and I am definitely grateful for that!
