Beckah is amazing with my son. She really connects with him and makes him look forward to math tutoring. The other tutors there are also really good with kids. The only reason why it is not a 10 is because it is a bit expensive. That said, it is worth it.

My family and I love Mathnasium! My daughter has been going to this program for four months and it is just remarkable how much she has excelled during that time! She feels more confident about math and she is not afraid to take on the new school year because she feels empowered with the math skills that she has learned.
We have tried other math programs for my daughter and nothing else has worked. However, she is always very eager to come to her session at Mathnasium.
The two things that stand out most about the program that I really enjoy are: (1) The program does not put all children into a category of grades. They meet the children where they are. So, for instance, it’s not about getting 100% and that means that you have an A. It is about the children mastering a percent of skills in each subject. This, seemingly small, shift may not sound like a lot, but for someone who is already not feeling confident in math, it’s very helpful.
To put it into context, other grading systems may say that a child only got a 70% on a test, which doesn’t feel good. But Mathnasium’s system would say that the child achieved 70% mastery of that subject, which feels much better, knowing you only have to learn 30% more in that particular subject.
The second thing that I really enjoy about the program is their reward system. Each time my daughter completes an assignment, she gets a check mark on a card. Over time, the completed cards are currency to buy fun items in the Mathnasium store. This is another very small but important incentive system that is really working well for my daughter.
Overall, I really enjoy the program and we are looking forward to being here throughout middle school!

I started my daughter in Mathnasium program when she was in 6th grade when Math started to get more complex for her. Our goal was to provide her learning environment where she not only excel in Math but also enjoy the learning environment and want to go to the session. She was in another program prior to joining Mathnasium and she complained everyday. Since joining Mathnasium, she looks forward to go to the sessions and learn math. After a year, I started my son in the same Perry Hall Mathnasium program. He loves it even more. He wants to go to the Mathnasium everyday...I had to explain him you can only attend 3 days a week. It is very happy to see them both enjoying the learning environments and look forward to attend the math sessions while also learning and advancing in Math.
It’s only been about a month since we started at Mathnasium, so it’s still too early to comment on long-term academic progress. However, I can already say that we’re very happy with the experience so far. I really appreciate the flexibility in scheduling—it makes it so much easier to fit sessions into our routine. My son feels very comfortable there and really enjoys working with the teachers. He says they explain things clearly and in a way that makes sense to him, which has helped build his confidence in math. We're looking forward to seeing how things continue to develop!

Students are allocated to progress at a steady pace. They have constant mastery checks and consultations with parents. There’s not a pressure on the students to achieve, but there are incentives when they master.
My daughter enjoys going the tutors are very helpful and supportive of her learning it’s been a positive experience for her she’s more confident and that’s good.
