I started my daughter in Mathnasium program when she was in 6th grade when Math started to get more complex for her. Our goal was to provide her learning environment where she not only excel in Math but also enjoy the learning environment and want to go to the session. She was in another program prior to joining Mathnasium and she complained everyday. Since joining Mathnasium, she looks forward to go to the sessions and learn math. After a year, I started my son in the same Perry Hall Mathnasium program. He loves it even more. He wants to go to the Mathnasium everyday...I had to explain him you can only attend 3 days a week. It is very happy to see them both enjoying the learning environments and look forward to attend the math sessions while also learning and advancing in Math.
It’s only been about a month since we started at Mathnasium, so it’s still too early to comment on long-term academic progress. However, I can already say that we’re very happy with the experience so far. I really appreciate the flexibility in scheduling—it makes it so much easier to fit sessions into our routine. My son feels very comfortable there and really enjoys working with the teachers. He says they explain things clearly and in a way that makes sense to him, which has helped build his confidence in math. We're looking forward to seeing how things continue to develop!

Students are allocated to progress at a steady pace. They have constant mastery checks and consultations with parents. There’s not a pressure on the students to achieve, but there are incentives when they master.

We have seen steady growth in our daughter's core math skills and more importantly her overall attitude toward math. Before she started, she was convinced she wasn't a "math person." We’ve been very happy with our experience at Mathnasium of Towson so far. Our children enjoy attending every single session, although their individual motivations and needs are different. The new location works fine.

My daughter loves Mathnasium! Prior to Mathnasium she got easily frustrated with Math. Since she started Mathnasium, she is so much more confident in her abilities in Math. Mathnasium also incorporated the standards that she is working on in school into her learning curriculum. I would recommend Mathnasium without hesitation!
So far have had a good experience with the program- I have seen significant improvements in number sense, concentration and skill since we started about a month ago.
