Variety
I like the fact that the swimming pool has times when very few people are using it. I make my plans to be there swimming at those times.
I like the gym on Saturdays around noon to 2 pm when it is very unused.
Most employees are very friendly. They make those employees who are uninvolved and distant stand out negatively. This is most notable with the new round of young lifeguards at the pool. One in particular does not want to have to be there. He twirls his whistle and does not look at swimmers in a regular scan. The only reason he does not bury his nose into a cell phone is that it appears cell phones have been banned while lifeguards are on duty. Thank goodness.

I love the programs, the instructors and the camaraderie. The East Bridgewater Y is a special place.
Never canceled a group lesson.

I like the variety of equipment
Variety and frequency
The YMCA in East Bridgewater provides a variety of activities, equipment and times to accommodate everyone. Walking in they will greet you by name as you check-in and answer any concerns or questions you may have. Looking forward to staying with them to keep up my goals.
Great instructors and selection of group programs to maintain my fitness level from pool group activities to fitness training and stretching. Examples are water in motion, aqua Zumba, forever fit and stretchability.
The availability of a number of different activities.
I like the body step which is harder to find . I like the instructors and trainers particularly Laurie Norman, Heather Mc Carthy and Christopher St.Louis. The buildings are clean and equipment plentiful and in good condition. In addition I have taken the opportunity to learn Pickleball at the Middleboro Y. Finally I find there is programming throughout the day and evening. With the option to go to any Y, there is always a class or activity going on somewhere to suit my interests.
I like that the Y has a good amount of treadmills now so I can always find one available when I come. This was not the case when I joined the Y 25+ years ago and the weight/treadmill room was in the little room next to the indoor basketball court. LOL The Y is much improved and has come a long way.
There are pleanty of programs for everyone.
