I would love it if semperviva could start hot/moksha yoga. I understand it may not work due to current spaces but if there is room in the future to open a new location, with hot yoga potential, that would be really motivating to some of you clients, like myself!
I like the teachers and the location.
Studio has room for lots of people.
Friendly personnel, great yoga classes, nice community feeling.
Knowledge of passport to prana
Mats have caked on dirt/sweat...it's gross.
The Yoga Instructors are first class.
The hours you are open is very appealing, and accommodating.
The free get together classes are fun and very social: a good place to find people, of common interest of good health, spiritual interest, fund raising for charities, nice nice people, you feel good going there. .

The class atmosphere was welcoming and calm.
Beautiful, clean studio and very helpful staff
Kits Beach Studio is my favourite location. I love the large airy feel to the studio and the cleanliness. The look is modern and has various merchandise for sale, such as mats that is quite convenient. The reason for the 8 rate is for two reasons:
1) the entrance and egress from the studio is awkward during the change of classes. It may be possible to reconfigure is such a way where an additional entrance could be created to the change area, thereby avoided the bottleneck during transition between busy classes. Particularly an issue Sat and Sun mornings.
2) once the class is at capacity, squeezing in a few more mats does made it tight for everyone. There should be a set limit to the capacity of the room. This is not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind.
I have tried many other yoga studies in Vancouver, and Semperviva Kits Beach is one of my prefered locations.
Hope this is helpful.
Waaaay too crowded. Everything else is fine.
Friendly, supportive, great schedule.
Didn't appreciate the lack of shower place, also didn't like the co-ed changing room. Mats were too tightly placed and feel crowded in big class.
Clean inviting environment, warm & friendly people
Close to home, friendly staff, great classes
Thanks for asking ! I enjoyed the class except The instructor just talked way too much!! waxed on philosophically about the universe .. It's very difficult to release relax breathe and let go when someone is yammering information in your ear .. Very annoying and distracting I just kept thinking in my head :"stop talking!!" It's OK when he talks to help with the process but not just random information .. I felt like he just wanted to hear himself talk and sound intelligent about the universe and kept saying "isn't that weird ?" Not really the venue to be "learning about the universe " Thx .. Hopefully next time will be better
Kits (and all semperviva) are such awesome studios! Love it every time I visit. It's a perfect wee community. Always the friendliest staff and teachers!
Too crowded.
Everything
Great teachers, beautiful studio space, lots of class options
Great service
Great class
Could you have a YIN class during the week in the am hours. Joan's class is too late in the evening to attend?
Could you have a gentle Hatha class at the City studio?
There are several of us from Open Door Yoga (the Kerrisdale location closed at the end of December) who like gentle Hatha practices.
Friendly courteous helpful front desk staff
Spacious
Everything
It's the feeling that everything is well planned and organized. And the staff is very helpful.
Community
Have a location downtown!
The instructors are very engaged, the studio is so welcoming.
Less emails

The class was amazing! Robin was a great instructor who offered many variations for each pose and informed the participants of the health benefits of yoga.
