The teacher at my last Vinyasa class got frustrated with people unable to do all the poses or taking rest breaks. I thought semperviva was supposed to be accessible to all ages and fitness levels. If we're doing our best but need to rest sometimes, I don't think the teacher should get mad & frustrated.
Flexibility, approachable
The sun studio is so cramped!
No room for props or moving arms, mats are set up one inch apart!, too crowded!
(The other studios have lots of room)

Awesome bright space-love it!
So many classes, plus good prices
Great instructors. I have my favorites. That’s what keeps me coming back
Central, frequent classes, helpful staff
Teresa’s prenatal yoga workshop is amazing. We’ve done it twice now and it has been a valuable and life changing part of our birth and pregnancies.
Spiritual, unique, challenging in a gentle way
It's Tuesday night, 8:26 p.m., Jolene Bayda is demanding that the temperature in the studio be set higher EVERY SINGLE TIME she teaches Yin class, because that's how it's supposed to be, the studio needs to be warm for the students to practice Yin properly. I love being part of a studio where the teachers, and Yoga assistants create that atmosphere where people can practice yoga as seriously as that, right alongside the obligatory exercisers and slackers like myself. Sun centre is always a very welcoming environment for everyone.
good friendly teachers and great class schedule
Very amazing
Calm atmosphere, excellent instructors.
The clients at Semperviva, especially the Kits Beach location, are very very noisy before class. Everyone is chatting loudly and on their phones, which makes it very difficult for those who are meditating or stretching before class to focus. Very gym'like feeling, rather than how a yoga studio should feel. Some great teachers, but unfortunately the atmosphere makes it hard to go there.
I've been realy well welcomed. And I really like the studio, the way it is disposed, the view on the buildings. the teacher was also really good and I appreciate that you lend the mats. I just had a wonderful global experience :)
Teacher was AMAZING
Extremely inspiring and empowering practice mixed with lovely staff
Allow guests to place their own yoga mats on arrival for a more intimate feel.
Time table that suits my needs. Great instructor's
B like more suggestions for difficult poses and correction from teachers. It’s hard to get into classes as a beginner
the beautiful and tranquil view; the good quality of the instruction
The people, atmosphere, location, facilities.
As I've said repeatedly before, the studio is in a great location for me and the staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, and great teachers.
The sign-in process was confusing and unclear. Even after I had signed in, I am unclear of what the process would be for next time. I registered for the class through Classpass- there was a tablet off to the side that I had unsure as to whether I was to sign myself in through this or not and did not get a clear message from the individuals at the front desk of what to do.
amazing approachable staff
Everything was perfect, the people at reception were very nice, the teacher was great. I will be back for sure

The City Studio is spacious and has lots of props. The classes are some of the best yoga classes in Vancouver. I especially like the longer (1.5hr) vinyasa classes!
