I started with YogaLife in 2010 when it opened. I was recovering from a brutal soccer injury in 2009 that took two surgeries to fix. I had dislocated my kneecap, snapped my ACL, cracked my knee meniscus, and did 360 degree torsion of my hamstring tendon. I had ACL transplatation surgery and I have permanent screws in my knee and bones.

It was YogaLife that rehabilitated me back into playing active soccer, which I still do competitively. The combination of Yin yoga and Hot Flow classes helped me find my flexibility, both mentally and physically.

I've been to many yoga studios. I like that yoga life has a very zen atmosphere in it. It is exceptionally clean most of the time, and is very welcoming. The presence of showers and comfortable places to change are a big factor. Specifically, if I compare Noorish Yoga, they don't have showers and you're forced to change in a single-occupancy bathroom in the basement that is right next door to a kitchen. If you leave your clothes there, the clothes end up smelling like greasy cooking.

YogaLife doesn't do that. Everything smells nice and clean. I have a very stressful job. I'm a supervisor at a large tax firm and I'm in the middle of tax season now. After a brutal day at work, I start to relax the moment I walk through the double doors at YogaLife because there is an aroma in the air that is very soothing. I have no idea what it is but whatever it is, keep it!

The interior decorating is immaculate. The white tiles, earthy undertones on the walls, and white couches have a very spa-like demeanour.

I like that you have a tea lounge and fruit for yoga students to socialize.

The rooms are excellent. Very clean, and I like that you don't have windows on them, so that the student can truly tune out the outside world. On the contrary, Moksha Yoga has a window on their main practice room and I could never fully immerse myself mentally due to the presence of outside light.

So your rooms are excellent.

I would also like to pay a compliment to all the beautiful ladies that always greet with a smile when I come in the door. It is much appreciated.

My favourite instructor at YogaLife remains Sophia Fairweather. She is a true yogini and she breathes and lives the life of a yoga teacher. She inspired me to adopt yoga as a lifestyle. I highly highly recommend bringing her back for classes.

In short, I love YogaLife, and I've actively recommended it to family and friends, including a guy who is a semi-professional strongman, of the kind that pulls semi trucks and lifts cars. He comes to YogaLife's hot flow classes and credits yoga as the reason why he hasn't had any injuries while pulling semi-trucks in his competitions.

I love YogaLife, I give you a 10/10.

The excellent people that work there

I like how staff get to know there clients. It's nice to have face wipes and other toiletries in the washroom. Also the wide variety of classes and hours are great.

Teachers like Michelle, Amy and now Chris make this place special. I like low lighting and music. I don't like small space for mats. I can't spread my arms freely

I've only been to two classes, but really enjoyed them and so far I've liked the teachers also :)

Late night classes, facility is welcoming

The studio layout and cleanliness as well as the teachers I've had so far and the overall feel I get in the place. Also a big thing is the availability and diverse times you can go which helps with busy schedules.

Staff are the most important. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful. However great instructors are what keeps you coming back. My personal favorites are Suzi, Amy and Jenn!!! But all of the instructors are very good. Also subs important. Have really enjoyed practices with Adi and Chris.

I like the vibe of the business and it is pretty clean. I like the instructors and app for the studio. I think some improvements that could be made are fixing some broken lockers, providing an alternative to the shared hand towels (enviro-friendly but a tad gross IMHO). Overall a good studio! Thanks!
