Our inspector, Jonathan Dube, was amazing. We're two first-timers selling our home and he eased our concerns about our pre-listing inspection straight away. He let us know that the addition of the summary was a great resource for busy home buyers and we were happy with the result. While Jonathan was in the house, we continued worked from home comfortably as he assessed the property, utilities, etc. He asked a few questions and was very knowledgeable, and knew exactly what he was looking for. After he finished, Jonathan gave us an overview of his findings and what we could expect to see in his final report. He sent it over to us complete even sooner than we expected, so it was in the hands of our agent nearly a week before our house hit the market. We were extremely impressed with Jonathan, his expertise and professionalism, and he was a very amicable, warm and friendly guy. Loved the report. Loved it so much that we received a mutual release from the seller. The seller did not want to mitigate. Chuck found siding issues, high radon readings and mouse problems in the attic. I appreciate his accurate inspection. We will continue looking at other homes in the area.

Your consultant arrived on time, got to work quickly and was courteous and pleasant. His report was thorough and detailed. It enabled me to immediately fix several of the issues he raised. One issue he raised was the possibility of a buried oil tank outside the house. With his information, I was able to verify that there is no oil tank outside the house and that the external pipe he found and another larger pipe that I subsequently found, were the vent and filler pipe for an internal oil tank which must have been removed many years ago.

Mark was extremely friendly and thorough. He took his time explaining everything as we went and I didn't feel like he was rushing anything.

The tech who did our inspection was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the house but also knew historical building code and building techniques that shed light on why certain things were the way they were and whether they represented issues or were just old school but still fine.

Detailed, efficient and quick

I liked the friendly and helpful assistance when I telephoned Carson Dunlop's service representative. The inspector arrived at the perfect time, ready to work. He did a thorough inspection of all the condo's readily accessible components and features. At the end of his inspection he handed us his Carson Dunlop business card for future reference. The follow-up report was very prompt and I appreciated that because I had only a few days to make important decisions about this building. I was pleased that it included photos and/or diagrams of the areas that had deficiencies or things that needed to be repaired. The real estate agent was impressed with the inspector's work too!
