Telling one of our children that they need to increase education activity might as well be a death sentence! Sophie does NOT look at Sylvan in this light. She is eager to go each time (unlike soccer, and almost every other activity she has!) and comes back with lots of positive energy.

All of the staff are wonderful. My daughter enjoys going to her sessions. She really loves how they teach and understands the curriculum. She is now doing better in regular school because of the strategies taught to her here. I highly recommend Sylvan to everyone I talk to.

The owner is very knowledgeable. The available hours for tutoring are very convenient, especially Saturdays and Sundays. My daughter was upset at having to go, but after having gone, the tutors made her feel comfortable and she is fine with it.

I really can't think of just one thing that we like about Sylvan. Sylvan has helped our daughter so much with her academics as well as boosting her self-confidence. We feel that the staff at Sylvan is extremely dedicated to helping the children and we couldn't think of a better place to be.

I like how efficient everyone is. In the 4 weeks that I have come to Sylvan, the hour during the week is always used for tutoring, my son goes straight in and sits down for an hour. I feel that Sylvan respects my time, I don't have to wait for the tutor to show up and he is never kept over for too long.
Also I love how friendly and caring everyone is while still keeping your privacy in such small quarters. I also appreciate the results I am seeing after only one month. In one month my son was promoted a grade level and I know its because of Sylvan.

Michelina Kinell in the W. Hartford office is a pleasure to deal with. My daughter (junior) has already began her SAT prep classes and she actually enjoys attending. She has been to 3 of the 7 classes and she has said that the information is very helpful. I have a freshman that will definitely enroll in the same class when the time comes.
