I usually don't write reviews, but in this case, I felt I must. Over the past three years I've been letting my hair grow for donation to the Locks of Love. I personally felt compelled to do so for a friend who has gone through life changes with cancer, and the loss of hair. Fast forward to the present, I've not been to a barber in recent years because of my journey and was not familiar with who or what was available, and/or well recognized as a quality barber/salon. I did what most people do and did an online search and read reviews, Sports Clips stood the most to me, it just felt right! Apon entering the establishment I was immediately impressed with the way I was greeted, the initial registration process, and the overall modern look and cleanliness of this establishment! I entered unregistered, my wait was short, Then I was pleasantly greeted by Kayla B who was very patient with me, informing me of styles that were for someone of my age. After the process was complete, I was surprising satisfied to see my transformation, it made me look and feel younger! I've found my place to go, and Kala B who was patient with me through this process as a new customer! My overall experience was pleasantly pleasing, and one that will bring me back for many years, I highly recommend sports clips to anyone looking for this same experience!
This last haircut I got was the best one I’ve had so far, she was very friendly and fast!
They do really great with my 9 year old. Ive gotten good haircuts most of the time. Getting a beard trim is really hit or miss, not the place if your looking for a close shave.
The stylists take their time and do not make you feel like they are rushing to get to their next client. There is a salon down the street from me that only charges $10 for men's haircuts so I guess it is understandable that they get as much in as possible but the hair cut reflects that. I love the hot towel shampoo and the fact that the stylists listen to you and the cut is exactly as I want it. I worked in the industry for 10 years in the hair care division of Revlon and was taught that there are 3 measurements of a good cut. The first is how you look when you leave the chair. With enough styling gel this is easy to accomplish. The next is what you look like after you wash your hair at home and try to duplicate what was done. The last is how it grows in. Sports Clips is the only place I have gone to in Central New York where all 3 stages get an "A"

I have been coming to Sport Clips for a few years now, and I keep returning because of the excellent service Quinn provides. They are an expert at what they do, and honestly I haven't found anyone close to being capable of doing what they're able to do. Also the lollipops are amazing. I look forward to them every time.
Your staff is professional, friendly and does a great job cutting my hair. I always go to Roe who knows just how I like my hair done.

Services are fantastic ! I only allow one person ,and only that one person, to cut my hair. She listened to what I wanted right from the first visit and she delivers a quality cut every time. She even knew when I needed “a spa day” . It was just what I needed after having a couple family deaths. The shampoo, hot towel, eyc made a huge impact on how I felt for the rest of the day. The overall atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. That’s important to me when you are a female and the majority of clients are male.
I enjoy the witty football banter with Mindy and Chasity; the recent free 3-dozen eggs with MVP purchase promotion; watching the little kids and elderly people pounce on the bowl of dum-dums.
The scheduling app still sucks though.
Charity (I hope that is her name) was fantastic. I get a haircut every few years and it's such a hassle. i never like how it turns out, sitting in the chair is uncomfortable, etc. However, I felt it very easy to communicate with my stylist and I walked out being very happy with my new cut. Thanks again!
I like that I can set a time in the lineup and have the freedom to do their things while I wait.
