Amazing school.

I knew my son was not going to gain much from the group oriented mass approach to math where they prod you through to be average whether you were weak or excellent. Get the answer right and move on.. But did you get an understanding? Was it a complete understanding? Can you apply it to a situation?

So I was very happy when Mathnasium came to town. I signed him up as soon as I was able. It is a program designed for math. The kids move at their own pace and are tested on skills achieved. Parents get reports and I get a call about once a month to confer on status. We do the one hour sessions 3 times a week and the learning is all done in class so you dont have homework for Mathnasium and the discipline and frequency are part of the program.

The enrichment is that your Student learns what they don't learn in a mass environment whether thetb are catching up on basics or excelling beyond the the limits.

There are alot of supplemental things for your kids this is the only thing I have seen in math

We have been there almost a year and can really tell a difference. They are great at checking in and making sure they are meeting expectations and if there is anything they can do. They are helping us getting thru summer so we are ready for school in the fall!

Matthew has made great strides this year in Math. He finished the school year with a
B+ in Pre-Algebra. He was more confident throughout the school year, which was meaningful in a number of ways. He used to argue about doing homework and he and I would spend hours working on assignments together. This past year, he would say, "I have a Math assignment, but I know how to do it".
We plan to continue as he moves into Algebra (part 1).

We enrolled our two boys about 1 year ago at Mathnesium. They have been doing really good in Maths at school and at home as well.

Cory, Chanhong and their team are super invested in customizing and optimizing the learning experience of each kid. My third grader has been going for almost 2 years now. They have helped him stay excited about Math while laying down a great foundation. Highly recommend them!

I should have put "10". The only reason I won't often refer friends is that most of my son's friends live pretty far from your location on 419 in Roanoke. Many of them are involved in sports and so the time commitment wouldn't work for them. The other friends excel in math already.

Thus far, I am 100% satisfied with the Mathnasium program.
Chanhong is a very effective communicator. The environment makes my son comfortable with asking questions and he enjoys going to scheduled tutoring times.

Our 4th grader was having a very hard time with math homework and on the edge of failing math class. It was something we all dreaded every day! Half way through the school year we knew our child needed more than we could give her. We searched around our area and found Mathnasium. The staff were friendly, the environment felt warm, and the kids we saw were happy. We decided to give it a try and by the end of the school year our child was already more confident and passing her math assignments. Through the summer she was able to continue working on her skills and we are a few weeks into the fifth grade year and we no longer dread math homework! She’s confident, she’s fast, she knows her stuff! Mathnasium has been such a blessing for our girl both in school and at home, it has taken the stress off all of us when it comes to math homework! The best part is she has fun doing it all! She looks forward to going and working hard to get to the next level. The staff at Mathnasium have been amazing, they are wonderful with the kids, keep them engaged, we get updates about her progress all the time and we appreciate everything they do! We are excited to see the continued progress our girl makes in math this year!

We enrolled our 3 children into mathnasium in June 2023 to avoid summer slide. We were just going to try it for the summer but our kids ended up loving it. We’ve continued since and see how it’s improved their confidence and strong math grades. We are very happy and they make scheduling a breeze! Highly recommend!

Abby has struggled with math. She is still struggling but she is excited about math and wants to solve problems, now!!

My son actually enjoys spending an hour doing math! Such a difference from the daily arguments with school work math. He is learning and gaining confidence.
