I should have put "10". The only reason I won't often refer friends is that most of my son's friends live pretty far from your location on 419 in Roanoke. Many of them are involved in sports and so the time commitment wouldn't work for them. The other friends excel in math already.

Thus far, I am 100% satisfied with the Mathnasium program.
Chanhong is a very effective communicator. The environment makes my son comfortable with asking questions and he enjoys going to scheduled tutoring times.

Our 4th grader was having a very hard time with math homework and on the edge of failing math class. It was something we all dreaded every day! Half way through the school year we knew our child needed more than we could give her. We searched around our area and found Mathnasium. The staff were friendly, the environment felt warm, and the kids we saw were happy. We decided to give it a try and by the end of the school year our child was already more confident and passing her math assignments. Through the summer she was able to continue working on her skills and we are a few weeks into the fifth grade year and we no longer dread math homework! She’s confident, she’s fast, she knows her stuff! Mathnasium has been such a blessing for our girl both in school and at home, it has taken the stress off all of us when it comes to math homework! The best part is she has fun doing it all! She looks forward to going and working hard to get to the next level. The staff at Mathnasium have been amazing, they are wonderful with the kids, keep them engaged, we get updates about her progress all the time and we appreciate everything they do! We are excited to see the continued progress our girl makes in math this year!

We enrolled our 3 children into mathnasium in June 2023 to avoid summer slide. We were just going to try it for the summer but our kids ended up loving it. We’ve continued since and see how it’s improved their confidence and strong math grades. We are very happy and they make scheduling a breeze! Highly recommend!

Abby has struggled with math. She is still struggling but she is excited about math and wants to solve problems, now!!

My son actually enjoys spending an hour doing math! Such a difference from the daily arguments with school work math. He is learning and gaining confidence.

Really helpful for middle school

We started Mathnesium for my then first grader to just to try it out. One year later, we are going strong! My son loves the learning atmosphere and the stimulation. I do belive it has contributed to his confidence in Math in school. The staff at the Roanoke Mathnesium is very approachable and receptive to any input. They have really tailored the program to make it really work. We love Mathnesium!

Our daughter is in middle school and has come such a long way since starting at Mathnasium. She has gained confidence in her math skills and is performing well. Flexible schedule to plan on one's own. I like the fact that math is done on paper, not online. It helps students to think more clearly when writing on paper.
