The Y was alway a big part of my upbringing in Ohio, as my dad served as a board member from my earliest memories. My first piece of mail, other than occasion cards from my grandparents, was my Y membership card. I was the beneficiary of valuable life lessons from my participation in two year-round Y junior leadership club throughout my junior high and high school years. Simply stated, the Y is “home”.
Personally, I now use the weight room several days a week in conjunction with my outdoor pickleball fetish played at the park next door. My wive swims, uses the machines, has taken classes …. and my insurance company now pays for my membership.

Work out room and swimming pool
I came back to the Y’s due to recent accident causing head hemorrhage, Steve class Tuesday 8:00 a.m. is good to the strengthen body balance and muscular development. My goal is to increase my class to 2x then 3x/per week. It is important to maintain health as well as safety.

I like the classes and the weight equipment
I participate in the water aroebics classes and love them! All the instructors are terrific!! It is quite a workout!

Variety. There's something for everyone.
I only workout in the gym area but the Y is very clean and has very nice equipment available. The people working the front desk are usually very friendly and helpful.
