Variety of activities, kids have freedom, length of the day

My daughter loves all the activities, especially swimming. She has also had great counselors; which she speaks highly of. I was very impressed with Jason Ching at the talent show. He was so encouraging of all the kids and tried hard to make them all feel comfortable.

Variety of experiences.

This is our kids’ first summer at Camp Thunderbird. They have a had a great time. Our kids listed “Gaga ball, Bebe guns, aquazip, fishing, swimming, and EVERYTHING!” They want everyone they know to come.

We love it because camp is full day, transportation is easy, Covid safety seems to be a priority, and our kids stay busy and active all day and have fun doing it.

My daughter loved boating the most, but truly everything about camp was the best two weeks of her summer. She was so sad for it to come to an end.

My son was in the LIT program. He really enjoyed the curriculum and ranking system. It kept him motivated and wanting to come back to move to the next rank. Thank you for providing a teenage boy with a great summer experience!

Variety

My daughter loved archery and phantom! She was excited (and tired) everyday when she came home and couldn’t wait to tell me what she had done. Her counselors were fantastic!

My daughter loved this camp and being a LIT. She said next year, which is her last as a camper, she only wants to do Camp Thunderbird.

Great set up, our son had the best week and everything was wonderfully organized! We’ll be back next year!

I love the fact that my child always enjoyed herself even though she only got to attend one week. Hopefully next year she will be able to attend more weeks because I found out late about this camp. She enjoyed swimming, meeting new people, archery, and climbing.

Both my children have remained engaged, challenged, and enthusiastic about Camp. The are making friends, special memories and have already grown tremendously from the experience and we are only 1/2 way through the summer. Counselor and staff have worked hard to give them both individual attention when challenges have a come up. Counselors and staff have been responsive and had great communication with myself as the parent. I highly recommend Camp Thunderbird.

I have and will continue to sing praises about CTYNCA. Jason and Stephanie are very hands on with their campers, and in the 4 consecutive years that our family has participated in the summer programs we have never had a major issue. It can be annoying when your camper looses towels, lunch boxes and multiple water bottles in a single summer, but it's a small sacrifice for all the fun, friends and learning they get in return.

I am sad that this summer is so short. our kids are starting school earlier than last year. Next year we'll have our full summer back.

We loved it there the kids did things that they have never tried before.

I like the variety

My daughter really enjoys the camp. Has a great time everyday she goes. Staff is wonderful. Only complaint is I wish there were more spots available. I was not able to get her in all sessions. I guess I will try signing up earlier next you. Thunderbird is a great camp.

Kayaking, Canoeing, Fishing, Archery, Sports, Reading. It is all great! Brodie loves Camp Thunderbird!

The management & staff are great! The wide variety of programs and activities is what I like the most about Camp Thunderbird. It keeps the kids happy and busy all day. It's a little something for everyone. Thank you!

Variety of activities and values instilled

I like the fact that my child comes home learning something new. This place is not just a daycare for my child, but he is learning lifeskills that he can have for a lifetime.

Lots of activities.

That it outdoors and full of physical activities. I am great full the kids are organized in small groups that allow them to make new friends.

The counselors and staff were amazing! My kids had a blast!
