I enjoy the fitness classes in the pool
I was happy to hear that a major upgrading of equipment was scheduled for this winter. I appreciate the value of our membership and specifically the veteran's discount. Please remember to acknowledge Veterans Day (November 11th)
each year.
The instructors, directors, and staff are friendly, reliable, helpful and always willing to answer any questions. The Y is clean and well maintained. It is a happy, cheerful place to be.
The instructors are all outstanding. There is also a good variety of exercise classes. And I like the mix of generations using the Y. It makes for a vibrant community.
They have daily programs for seniors as well as higher levels for after school and evenings.
Many options for seniors but always welcome additional group classes.
Nice variety for all exercise needs.
Swim lessons for my daughter are great. I like the boxing equipment in the gym. The only improvement would be a speed bag.
Various typ s of classses for all ages
The variety of activities
The fitness staff are the coolest
Varied and times are good as well as great instructors ⭐️
A lot to choose from
Facility, teachers and classes in Saugus.
Pickleball
I tend to use the machines independently and use the pool regularly for lap swim. I kike that I generally find a time that isn't too busy.
Love the YMCA! Jackie O's Thursday am yoga class is spectacular. She accommodates all skill levels and is upbeat and funny! I also love the ability to jump around to other YMCAs based on my schedule and their class offerings. Torigian is always clean and the staff are fantastic.
One area of improvement I'd love to see is to the Motion Vibes app - is there an easy way to check-in to both the Y AND into the class at the same time? I understand that your location tracker must be activated on your Iphone (which I do not want), so I have to manually check-in with the instructor. Maybe bring back the check-in Ipad kiosks that were present during Covid?
Will the Y ever host a Yoga retreat? I signed up for one in Peabody a couple of years ago, but it was cancelled. :( I think you'd have a great response for a 1/2 day retreat - suggest mixing-in some meditation, Tai Chi, guest speakers, nutrition tips etc. I'd suggest hosting it over the winter, when attendance is higher.
Another request is for an introductory Spin class that goes over the basics (how to set up the bike, other pro tips, etc,).
Thanks for listening and keep on doing what you're doing!
Great facility with excellent staff.
Todos los programas son muy buenos al igual que las instalaciones, excelente limpieza y un ambiente extraordinario.
It’s so great and outstanding to accomplish lots of amazing training projects at the Torigan YMCA in Peabody. It’s like taking delight in the training programs have given to us and that will be strengthen our abilities to climb higher in the Rocky Mountains 🏔️ with different weights and machine exercises and running techniques and yoga and swimming indoor and outdoor all year long training sessions and activities with the neighbors because Glory belongs to Him Jesus Christ the Son of God who God gave to the world for us to be saved by Him the One and Only Son Jesus Christ our Lord and as our Faith in Him springs forth from our hearts Thy Righteousness looks down from Heaven and Lord Jesus Christ indeed will give what is good and the land our Nation will yield its Harvest
Praise the Lord 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Clean, quiet easy space to get in whatever workout you like.

Outstanding teachers! Great variety of classes and programs to choose from.
As a single retired woman, the Y offers many different classes but more importantly a place to go to meet and make friends.
The kids enjoyed every camp week!
Wonderful instructors, clean atmosphere, friendly people, challenging and fun activities!
Love how clean the pool and women’s dressing room is. Great lifeguards Friendly staff
Fun and interesting
The staff are terrific and the equipment is excellent. I feel comfortable here, and have been coming since 2007 (with a pause during Covid, and also after an injury). Over the years I've usually just worked out on my own, with the exception of several years of spin classes. But since my return a couple years ago, I'm so glad I took advantage of personal training with Eddie Romero, initially to recover as much as possible from my injury. Now I'm stronger than ever and have recovered more function than I would have thought possible! I'll be forever grateful for the difference he made in my recovery - and we've also had a lot of fun along the way!
