Saf-T-Swim in Smithtown is truly outstanding! I can’t say enough about the entire staff . every single person here plays a role in making it such a positive and welcoming place. The front desk team, Alyia, Gianna, and Ori, are always warm, organized, and helpful, making check-in and scheduling effortless.
My son’s instructor, Terresa, is phenomenal, patient, encouraging, and gifted at helping kids gain confidence in the water. She has been a huge part of my son’s progress and excitement for swim lessons.
The lifeguards, Danny and Cameron, are attentive, professional, and caring. Knowing they’re watching over the pool gives me such peace of mind.
From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, you feel how much the whole team truly cares about the kids and their safety, growth, and happiness. Saf-T-Swim Smithtown is more than a swim school, it’s a community, and we are so grateful for every single person here.
The instructors are amazing at the Bohemia location. My daughter has been swimming there since she was 1 and is now almost 8. She absolutely loves it and went from the child we couldn’t get in the water to the child we can’t get out of it!

I have both my boys in group swim lessons at saf-t and they absolutely love it. The instructors are dedicated to the individual needs of my boys and have helped them become confident swimmers.
We feel so lucky to have had Ms. April as our swim instructor for the past year. She is caring, attentive, and patient. My 8yo says Ms. April gives helpful feedback that makes her swim better, and she always feels supported during lessons. My 5yo started off scared of the water, and now he’s confidently jumping in and swimming like a fish. Both of my kids have made amazing progress thanks to her. We’re so grateful for Ms. April’s support and guidance.
Staff very friendly and courteous. Instructors seem to get the kids involved even on the first day and seems to have thier attention.

The one on one experience has been amazing for my daughter. Amanda takes the time to teach her new things and correct her when she’s wrong all while making swimming fun & safe!

The staff is great at communicating and addressing any issues or questions I have. Logan’s instructor is very knowledgeable and patient.
I love that my instructor Issys is very patient, during the lessons she assesses and give immediate feedback, and uses the assessment to structure lessons focusing on my strengths and weaknesses 👏🏽another favorite is the temperature of the pool’s water!

The staff at Commack Saf-T-Swim is always so friendly and accommodating. I have been taking my son for private swim lessons for the last 4 years. Claudia is always a pleasure to work with and is always so helpful whenever an issue arises. She is always so welcoming and my son is excited to see her every week. Charlie G has been an amazing instructor and my son adores him and has progressed tremendously since he has been taking lessons with him. They are both assets to this location.
