Coach April and Coach Veronica have been so good for both of my kids. You can see that they have the passion for the sport and take it to the next level of commitment. The pool isn't overcrowded so it has not been an overwhelming experience.
His swim instructor is amazing with the littles and parents- despite being in hs herself she shows a maturity and patience that is very appreciated. The entire experience has been amazing and we look forward to it each week

I have been to two saf-t-swim locations and it’s all about the staff. They do that absolute most with your child to educate them on being in the water. They take there time to teach and give feed back to what your child might need to do to improve.
Our instructor Fabrizzo made every swim lesson an exciting and fun experience for my son.
I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with my children's swim coach, Jordan. I enrolled both of my kids in private lessons, and Jordan has been absolutely incredible. He is patient, kind, and incredibly skilled at teaching young children how to swim. Thanks to his guidance, he’s helped ease my fears about having a pool in the backyard with two young children (ages 3 and 4), and now I feel confident that they are safe and capable in the water. They are already learning proper swim strokes, and I cannot recommend Jordan and his professionalism enough. Both my daughter and son adore him and always look forward to their next lesson. Thank you, Jordan, for everything you do!

Isabella was wonderful! She made it a wonderful experience; especially as our son was so young and we weren’t sure how he would do in the pool for the first time. The facility was clean and had a nice space for us to watch the pool. Overall good experience
Tour from the staff from the beginning was very helpful as we are new. Watching the instructors with the kids - they gave them a lot more attention and taught more skills than we've seen at previous swim schools.
We love Miss April. She is very patient with our child. She never misses lessons and works to accomodate us.

I love how Riley instantly knew what to do to help my daughter to feel confident in the water. She was having a hard time understanding the instructors but Riley did something differently & she accomplished it.

It's a wonderful place to swim. My family has been here for quite some time now. The facility is clean and brightly lit. I appreciate that they look after the facility - recently changing to new hairdryers and adding an additional one - super helpful especially during those busy times. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful! Leslie, Aniya, and Matt are knowledgable and efficient. Whether it's to schedule a make-up or make a payment, I know that I am always in good hands with them. Jazzy and Ava M. are my children's regular instructors and they are amazing! Jazzy is playful while firm, a great balance that works perfectly for my girls. Ava M. gives my son the right push to strengthen his stamina in the water. Sean has been a substitute instructor for my children for a few sessions and he is also great, helping them improve their form during sessions. Thank you to everyone at Saf-T-Swim Melville!
I can’t speak highly enough about Samantha as my son’s swim instructor. When he first started, he was terrified of the water and would cry just at the thought of going into the pool. But after more than six months of lessons with Samantha, he has made incredible progress. He no longer hesitates when it’s time to get in the pool, and he trusts Samantha completely. While he’s still young and has a lot to learn, it’s clear that his comfort in the water has grown significantly. Samantha’s patience, encouragement, and gentle approach have made a world of difference, and I’m so grateful for the progress my son has made under her instruction.
Trish is a great swim instructor! Her patience and persistence in teaching my daughter has really paid off. My daughter has made so much progress and I feel more and more confident having her in the pool with each lesson.
I have learned safety skills and have become more comfortable in the pool. I have also learned how to swim and continue to improve and progress in my swimming abilities.
We have been with safe-t swim for over 2 yrs. We like the instructors and in general the facility and location. The team (managers and instructors) have been flexible and accommodating to schedule changes.
Our current coach Rob has been very patient with my almost 4 yr old son (who doesn't always listen and will argue back). Rob checks in with us to make sure we are also comfortable with the plan (such as dipping my son underwater to teach him to hold his breath). He's been great!
We were welcomed at the door and given a tour. All questions were answered. My daughter absolutely loved her lesson and didn’t want to leave!

All 3 of my children have had lessons at the Smithtown location and the experience is always great. Currently my son James is working with Isabella and he’s having so much fun and my 16 month old, Molly, is working with Orianna and it’s so sweet to watch. She just loves her and is doing so well for her first time in swimming lessons.
