I am really liking this Bellmore location so far. Barbara is amazing- very kind and helpful. Unlike my experience at the New Hyde Park location a few years ago (after being a member for so long and then taking my kids out because their management/customer service dropped drastically) , this has been a much better experience . They keep the same instructor throughout the experience, and my kids really like their instructors. This has been especially important for my son because he takes more time adjusting and trusting (to add to the fact that hated water for years) and he needs someone who is kind and caring. (I point this out because at the other location, where he was younger and less experienced, shortly before we stopped going, they were switching trying to change the instructor every 3 months even when I had asked them not to way when signing him up)
My one current complaint, however , is that people leave their belongings in the changing rooms ALL the TIME. It would be nice if staff walked around and emptied the rooms

Finally I got an amazing instructor for my child . Anthony is very patient and knowledgeable , he has been helping Aidan immensely.
My child has been going to saf-t -swim for 3 years and still in this program , how is that possible , it time for him to finish, it a long time milking money out of the parents .

I was not happy with the other instructors, management is not accessible, they hide behind the call center, not returning messages . I left messages since Sunday reg. billing and today is Wednesday. Michelle only called today because of the 0 star and LEFT A MESSAGE regarding that ONLY.
The staff is always helpful and the instructors are great at what they do. My daughter was scared of the water now she loves to be in the water thanks due to wonderful instructors. I wish there would be more times available as it's popular that spaces and times are limited.

Our positive experience has everything to do with the swim instructor you have. And that instructor is Jordan. Very patient and attentive to my son. Constantly tries to push him to work harder. Very happy with him

The staff at NHP are amazingly sweet, patient, and helpful. I love that they know who we are as soon as we walk in and greet us with the biggest smile. As a first time mom with a young baby, I desperately wanted her to learn how to be safe around water. The swim coaches are so warm and nurturing with my daughter. Thanks to the NHP coaches she has developed a love for the water and enjoys going to swimming each week. I LOVE seeing her learn new things each week. I am one proud mama.
The Waves team for our 13 year old son has been a great experience. They differentiate instruction based on ability, and my son has learned the proper way to swim while also receiving rigorous exercise. We are looking forward to our first Waves event later this month!
My son's swimming skills have vastly improved over the school year. He has really enjoyed his private lessons. As a parent, I have appreciated that the waiting area is cool, lights off, and quiet, and allows me to watch him swim. We are stopping lessons only for July and August, and plan to return in September. I have only one complaint about the Bellmore location: the parking is atrocious. It can be difficult to find a parking spot. I'm not sure there is much to be done about it, other than to improve relations with the bank next door so that some of those spots could be used.
Love the instructors at this location! My kids both love attending swim lessons here. It is great to see the progress that they have made!
While I’m happy with the swim instruction I would greatly appreciate seeing the pool deck cleaner!
Teachers are great
When I first arrived and stated my daughters name, they already knew it was our first time there, she immediately got up, introduced herself, gave us a tour, gave us welcome bag and told us the whole process of the class. Very welcoming. The instructor was great and gave great feedback and my daughter didn’t want to leave she had so much fun
The instructor is excellent.
The swim experience is terrific. As an improvement, there could be a period between each lesson when children are exiting and entering the pool that isn’t part of the lessons time frame- this way the instructor has a minute or two to update a parent on what their child did that day and what they are working on, etc. This interim time would serve the customer by removing the time that’s cut from each lesson when being used for these discussions, which most of the time are necessary discussions.

The instructors and staff there is wonderful. My daughter loves her instructor Pam who is very dedicated and attentive. As always Rory and Christina always makes our experience there very smooth and stress free.
The main reason I would highly recommend Saf-T-Swim is because of the exceptional instructors and staff. They are patient, professional, and truly committed to helping each swimmer feel comfortable and confident in the water. Their friendly approach and clear communication make a big difference in the learning experience, especially for young or nervous swimmers. The supportive environment they create is what truly sets Saf-T-Swim apart.
Ariana is great with my grandson. He cries a lot, but she stays firm but kind.
Miss Nicole her instructor is the absolute best and we love her so much. We have been going to her for many years. We also love Miss Cheryl at the front desk in Bohemia. She is so kind and patient with my daughter and it means so much. However, the lessons are extremely expensive.
Appreciated the facilities and most of all the staff/team helped so much! They were kind and patient with my scared young child.
Maggie was very patient with our very energetic twin boys. They were overly excited to be in the water, but she managed to give them both great lessons. We opted for one-on-one sessions for next time, but highly encourage their services.
