Good hair cut, friendly staff, clean facility, love the Aveda fragrance and products.
But… I MISS THE HEAD, NECK AND SHOULDER MASSAGE THAT WAS PART OF THE AVEDA SPA -LIKE EXPERIENCE. I’ve been an Aveda customer since the late 80s and it was something I really enjoyed aside from a good hair cut. Has that been eliminated from all Aveda salons or just Van Davis at Thruway or is it something my stylist just doesn’t do?

You are absolutely correct- the scalp massage ritual and the neck/shoulder stress-relieving treatment are still an important part of your Aveda experience we strive to provide for every guest. We sincerely apologize that was missed during your last visit. While there are times a stylist may be running behind schedule, that should never take away from the care and experience you deserve.

In early April I came to Van Davis for a much needed haircut and I was lucky enough to have Chris White cut my hair. I have searched for a hair stylist who could make my curly hair look good without me doing much and this haircut is perfect! I was actually happy when I got home from my appointment and that is not the norm after a haircut but I really like this cut! Thanks Chris
