I love the atmosphere and think the food is better than The Optimist. The crab dip we had on Tuesday night was a little fishy and the spinach/ham hock casserole was dry.
Simply the best seafood in Atlanta (this coming from a South Floridian). Other restaurants may have the hype, but Lure has the substance, along with a wonderful atmosphere and great drinks. It's one of my favorites in Atlanta, and I'll keep coming back.
The service is great, the food is delicious and the space is visually pleasing.

Erin Blackburn was absolutely delightful. Her menu knowledge was impeccable. She recommended the best wine for our apps & mains. I will return because of her. The food was heavenly as well. We had cocktails while waiting for a table & Mika was very patient in finding a perfect cocktail for my picky mother. We shall return
I really appreciated the attentiveness and positive, pleasant attitude of all your staff. The servers and the manager on site. I love the food and the restaurant ambiance. The only thing I didn't like was that the private room in the back and we reserved also had a door leading into the kitchen. Maybe you could make a partition for that door. Otherwise I did like the back room and the curtain that separated us from the rest of the restaurant as my event was a special and personal occasion.

Service was excellent as was the quality of the food. However, my wife requested low salt, and while the quality of her main dish (monkfish) was excellent, the side dish of spinach was over salted.

The atmosphere is beautiful. The service is excellent, but not overbearing and it isn't too loud but it still feels sleek - there is a sophistication to Lure that is very appealing.

We've been to Lure many times and always enjoyed it. The last time was especially great because of David, the Beverage Manager. My wife is gluten intolerant, and while many restaurants are improving their knowledge of gluten in foods, it seems as though practically no restaurant has given serious thought to whether their cocktails are gluten free. Admittedly, that's not always easy; nowadays, my wife gets “glutened” more often by drinks than food, it seems. But when we approached David about whether the punch bowls are gluten free, he went the extra mile in a number of ways to accommodate my wife. Also, experience tells us that people don’t always really understand what gluten is (i.e., it’s not simply bread), and so we were very impressed and grateful to hear about his research and knowledge on the topic. We really appreciate his assistance, and the service more generally.
