I became a member, primarily for the warm water pool, to exercise without impacting my knees. Dr Selby recommended this to replace walking, as walking was creating serious knee pain. And other parts of my body are receiving benefits as well. In the few times I have participated, it has given some relief, but I need more time for my solidly evaluated.
My observation tells me that there are an abundance of equipment and activities here at the Y.
So far, I am completely satisfied.

The staff is always helpful and friendly! There are so many different exercise machines and I never have to wait to use them.

The instructors for the classes I attend are excellent. I do wish there were more options for classes at my fitness level. Additionally, two of the classes I attend are very overcrowded and need either more offerings of the class or a larger space.

I just started using this facility a few weeks ago. It's a pretty decent Y.
Everything is A.O.K.
Nikki Haley did a wonderful job teaching me how I can use the exercise equipment to improve my upper body, core and leg strength as well as my balance
A good variety of classes, but also open gym which isn't overcrowded.
The programs and activities are suited for many of the members of the YMCA. Many choices for members to participate in.
Variety of classes, great instructors
Nikki met with me to orient me to 6 machines that I can use without damage to my lower back. She also showed me how to use the recumbent bike abd treadmill. I divide time between California and KY, so I was not familiar with the new machines. Nikki listened to my concerns about current spine problems and my
neurologists advice to start working on core strength, then she helped me set the weight, seat and back adjustments, and she created a beginning regimen of reps and sets for starting a strengthening weight
program. Thank you, Nikki!
I enjoy walking on the treadmill and the track. There's plenty of room and a lot of different things to do.

I like playing pickleball and strength training.
