New and clean facility
It is very socialble and I get a good workout upstairs in the Gym, Track and in Aquafit.
My Doctor put me on a strict diet and exercise program and I have lost 55 pounds in a year.
Aquafit has , and is helping the skin not to hang too much as well as keeping me fit and the Gym has a number of machines I can use.
After I use the gym and then aquafit, I walk the track.
I have few machines as I am on a walker so it's important to me to use the machines. track and aquafit that I can.
I come 5 days a week.
I have recommended the Start.ca YMCA to a few people.
2 have gone in and joined.
I will be looking into the Yoga as well.

The support you get from StarTech staff is really good. Also for people who are shy, and struggle to fit in, I felt welcome and well included 😊. If there is any issue, they try to fix it ASAP.
I find the aquatics program is beginning to run smoother. The staff is always friendly and approachable and eager to find answers to any questions they may not have the answer for.

The staffs are amazing. Very friendly and helpful.
I would like 1 more session of Fight group during the week and some Zumba /Groove too! For the older kids, I would want gymnastics or dance coz there was not much demand but my kid is not the team player kind of thing.
We need to have more classes in Komoka: at least 2 more options: group fight and maybe group active while waiting for the groove instructor to come back!!!
Otherwise, I m quite happy! I need to be active , it s paramount for my whole well-being!!!

It is very good for families with children. Am opportunity to learn and train how to take care of your body and easy way to conect.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff in encouraging more confidence in our kids in the water.
As a 15 year member of GoodLife I chose the YMAC over GoodLife because of the pool. I wanted to add swimming into my regime of physical fitness, something that GL did not offer at the club I belonged to. Cost is slightly higher at the YMCA but not prohibitive.
The YMCA offers everything and more than GL.
I love the track on the second level. It’s convenient on those cold wintery days when you just can’t walk outside. The library is a relaxing place to read and learn. My son and I often visit the library and read a book or two. My son also has swimming lessons at the pool which he loves.

I enjoy the variety of classes and the sense of inclusion and acceptance. As a senior member, my needs and ability are always addressed and catered for. The staff are knowledgeable, approachable and very welcoming. I thoroughly enjoy every minute I spend at the gym!
The morning aquafit is the only activity I partake in 3x per week (10am).
Excellent instructors.
Just a note that this morning, there was quite a bit of black "dirt" in the shallow end near the ramp. I mentioned it to one of the staff. If a thorough morning check in the pool had been done, this should have been avoided.
