I absolutely LOVE the warm water therapy pool and the Saturday morning aquatic class with Debbie. I work full-time and can’t attend any of the weekday classes.
Group activities, the friendliness of the staff & the members. Even without a group, a great place to be!

YMCA keeps me motivated, feeling great, meet new people. YMCA gives me something healthy to do to get me out of the house.

I love the Pilates class. Wish there was another night in the evenings so I could go twice a week.
Love the water aerobics, Laurie us a Great teacher and helps all she can.

Thanks to the senior center or YMCA in council bluffs I made an amazing recovery from a fall that could have been a death event or very devastating to my body. I go there 5 days a week for mostly water therapy with our top-notch trainers. Instead of going downhill after the fall, I recovered very quickly. I contribute my health and wellbeing to our outstanding facility. Thanks!

My husband attends every day. It is a highlight for the day for a person who has Parkinsons. VERY caring. Great programs. Nothing really bad that I can think of. I WISH they had a means to get people there with their own bus. Tried finding help through different agencies but not available to us because we are not low income. BUT a lot of shuffling around to get him there. I see other people getting left off but we do not qualify. That would be my only suggestion.

I mostly swim now, although I have participated in other classes, such as chair yoga and thi chi. I like the center because it's very convenient for me, the staff is friendly, and I have options to add more classes as my interests and availability allow.
