I absolutely LOVE the warm water therapy pool and the Saturday morning aquatic class with Debbie. I work full-time and can’t attend any of the weekday classes.

I love the Pilates class. Wish there was another night in the evenings so I could go twice a week.
Love the water aerobics, Laurie us a Great teacher and helps all she can.

Thanks to the senior center or YMCA in council bluffs I made an amazing recovery from a fall that could have been a death event or very devastating to my body. I go there 5 days a week for mostly water therapy with our top-notch trainers. Instead of going downhill after the fall, I recovered very quickly. I contribute my health and wellbeing to our outstanding facility. Thanks!

My husband attends every day. It is a highlight for the day for a person who has Parkinsons. VERY caring. Great programs. Nothing really bad that I can think of. I WISH they had a means to get people there with their own bus. Tried finding help through different agencies but not available to us because we are not low income. BUT a lot of shuffling around to get him there. I see other people getting left off but we do not qualify. That would be my only suggestion.

I mostly swim now, although I have participated in other classes, such as chair yoga and thi chi. I like the center because it's very convenient for me, the staff is friendly, and I have options to add more classes as my interests and availability allow.
The programs and activities at the Council Bluffs Senior Center complete my need for healthy exercise and social interaction.
Line dancing, water aerobics, Mah Jongg, bus trips.

Group classes are well organized and led by excellent instructors, water classes and floor aerobics. Chair Yoga is a perfect strengthening program.
I attend at least 2 classes a day, except for Saturday because it’s a shorter day. Sunday the YMCA Healthy Living Center is closed but I would probably attend if they were open 😊
I first learned about the facility after I had hip surgery and did water therapy by Hopp Therapy and I got a membership soon afterwards.
The staff is very friendly & professional. The pool has warm water 💦 so it’s easy to enjoy the water classes year round, est. temperature is 90*

The YMCA and all it has to offer is a place to regain strength.
