I like it that you have an active light guard in the swimming pool that can monitor any pool activity. I try to take my daughter swimming twice a week to help with her physical therapy since she had a moderate stroke 17 months ago. I feel confident that she is being carefully watched while I can spend some time working out in your weight and treadmill room.
I enjoyed your pool. It wasn't crowded and there was a lifeguard. Thank you!
The yoga instructor was good. I'll continue going to her class when my schedule permits. I didn't know where the yoga classroom was, so an employee working at the front desk showed me where it was. It was very nice of him to do that.
Senior activities.
Jackie Wattenhofer is a gem!
Heather’s class is awesome
The Y is a great experience. Everyone is so friendly.
The variety of classes and different days/times
Silver Sneakers classes - great for helping me with balance, strength and flexibility. Added bonus: all the wonderful friendships I've made with my fellow "class-mates".
The variety
I like the instructor Honey for water aerobics and the E gym on L. Everyone has been very nice.
The Silver Sneakers programs.
Everyone is so friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. You can do things at your own pace and just have fun!
I can come whenever I want to pool
Inexpensive access to pool.
I like the variety in my class. Work on cardio, balance and just keep moving. Senior class.
Clean facility great staff.
A good variety of programs. A clean facility. Excellent staff.
Very diverse classes something for everyone.
The programs are so good for everyone, especially the elderly, or those who suffer from arthritis. I have been introduced to so many different programs through the LiveStrong program (for cancer survivors), that I will definitely be joining to continue in these other programs.
Volleyball for beginners, location convenient, affordable, communicative.
Friendly staff, clean, hours of operation, good programs. I have already recommended to my new neighbor.
An opportunity for all to get in the game and have fun playing a sport!
I am happy you are open! We enjoy swimming at
Southwest. We swim every Sunday afternoon and often one other day per week. It is always clean, and the lifeguards are friendly.
The coaches are very active and great at teaching the basics and the children are very kid. We’ve been to the Sarpy YMCA in the past and I gotta say I don’t think we’ll be using them anymore for my childrens activities. SWYMCA is great
Affordable. Coaches care about the kids. Allows a program to teach and help develop kids’ skills. Appreciate the morals and teachings of the faith based motto and teamwork.
It goes from 1 sport to another so kids can keep going from sport to sport.
Usually I'm not involved in the group activities. Have been a member there for a long time and I enjoy the people that work out and work at the Southwest Y.
Variety of ways to benefit from the Y, classes, individual workout, team sports, learning g new games/sports.
Just a friendly place to work out and take my kids to play sports.

I am taking water aerobics after having hip replacement. I have taken them before at various places but Honey is the best instructor I have ever had.
First she is very good teacher, patient and kind
but also very welcoming and makes it fun.
The front desk employees are also welcoming and very helpful.
Looking at your other classes and calendar of events I think you have something for everyone. I am sure I will do some other things.
The price is right too.
