The swim lessons are great! Open swim times are very fun too!
Cost and the instructors
Madeline is such a patient, kind and wonderful instructor! She is clear with instruction and patient with each toddler. We are loving the class with my little one!
The smallness
Easy to sign up. Affordable. Good exercise but not so competitive for the younger children that it discourages them.
Classes (group fitness) do go off as scheduled/posted on app. Reliability!
My family loves to come to the YMCA to swim!!!
There are many classes at the Sarpy YMCA to work out and socialize in.
The staff is always helpful and friendly.
Great teachers, plenty of options and times and a community feeling with other members.
The classes
The pool.
Love the early morning class availability and the instructors!!!
Weight area. My wife likes Body Pump and Body Combat classes.
Lots of variety when taking classes. Facility clean. Hours are great.
Thank you for keeping us members updated about the swimming pool. The signs and posting it on your website helped a lot. Thank you
I really enjoy the exercise classes (USC, HIIT, etc.). The instructors keep me engaged and working hard.
Any plans on expanding bigger weight room or adding a indoor walking track?
Skilled instructors, clean facilities, friendly welcome desk staff.
I like the variety of exercise classes. The instructors are wonderful. I appreciate programing throughout the day and into the evening
love the spinning classes and other classes. Thanks for the new bikes!!
Everyone is very friendly and the place is clean, which is important to me. We love the pool as well.
The times work out for my schedule and all the instructors are amazing!
I like warning up on one of the elliptical machines. Then I like to work my legs on the varied ones available. Then up to the weight room. So much variation to alternate. Best of all the pleasant staff that greets me and is available for help or conversation. Trips to the Y. Are definitely a special time for me.
I work shift, usually Night shift. The schedule is so nicely spreadout throughout the day that even, I, a bust healthcare professional, can find time to fit in some fitness self care. Jeff in Cylcing is very energetic and motivating that I want keep going. Definitely worth getting up for at 0600 to start my workout day. Mareen with Low Impact Cardio makes for an amazing multi level full body workout without over doing it but still challenging that I can feel the impact. Andrea from Barre would make my Physical Therapist proud that I'm doing alot of the same moves that he requires me to do on a weekly basis. I've enjoyed everyone's friendly and approachable demeanor. I've made Wed my workout day of choice and can easily spend 4 hrs working out without it feeling like a chore. Hoping to try out some aquatics soon when I get the time.
Like the silver sneakers
I dislike mandatory closing of pool during walk time.
Mostly use the pool for water walking/exercise in the water. It has helped me so much! Improved mobility & mood!
Have used some exercise machines.
I think the YMCA provides something for everything. The staff is always helpful and instructors for classes good.
it meets my need for the pool. It's close to my house. The hours are great most of the time. I understand that you need a guard and there are times with maintenance needs to be done. I don't have an issue with the being down the week of May 9.
I am so appreciative of the many types of classes offered. As a "senior" trying to get back into exercising, I love the class variety (yoga, circuit, Sneakers, etc.), the multiple time/day options, and the various instructors. Each instructor has their own "style" and I learn from all of them.

We love the variety of high and low so that all ages can be satisfied. Love the genuine friendliness of the staff as well! That's why it feels like a family!
