We use the pool. The instructor is knowledgeable and very good with the exercises, both my husband and I enjoy the water exercise class.

Warm water in the pool
Stacy is a great at the front desk, she is always so helpful and knows everything you could possibly ask. I enjoy spinning, body pump, swimming, yoga, all of the staff are really nice and explain how to setup and are classes are always enjoyable. Also enjoy walking on the track downstairs and have met some really nice people in the morning while there walking since the first of the year. Can't wait to get back to my health goals.
I like Katie’s Body Attack class on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The downtown Omaha YMCA is convenient to access, and has a good variety of equipment to stay fit. There's also a lap pool that has open lanes much of the day.
Staff very friendly upon arriving and leaving. Equipment is awesome. I’m a newbie so it would be kinda nice to have a trainer on hand to assist with some of equipment. Lol
They did such a great job with my 3 year old during water acclimation. He was so scared they let him throw the diving rings over and over while he stood far enough to not even touch the water. Through gentle coaching and allowing him to only do want he was comfortable with he jumped into the water! He had so much fun I was so proud of him and grateful for the teachers showing so much care and attention.

We started here in February of 2018 to prepare for my knee surgery. We joined the Aqua-joints class. I believe that the exercise was a big factor in my recovery after a total knee replacement. We have continued with this class since then. In may of 2022, I had my other knee replacement and in 6 weeks I was released from by surgeon to return to the class. We currently have the class 5 days a week from 10 am to 10:45 am. We have people coming and going, but remain around 12 regulars.
I have not yet got involved with any activities. I only do weight lifting at this time; however, I am Interested in taking the cycling classes.
Lots of individual attention
I just use the pool. I really like the guards there. Also, the pool water is perfect.
I like the aquatics.
Like the new - tech driven equipment. The staff is very interactive & helpful.
I am now older and use the equipment to try to remain active and healthy. The down town YMCA is near my work and my home. It is convenient and affordable.

Trying the new Buena Vista Location. It was easy to join and work with the very helpful and friendly staff. I joined to become stronger from back surgery, stronger bones and increase my core balance. The EGYM has offered a great solution to get me on the right track. I have been adding cardio equipment. Hoping soon to add the MX class to my rotation.
I like the variety of programs and classes that are offered. Everyone should be able to find something that works for them.
We need more morning classes. Like pilates

Great staff in the kid’s room, plenty of machines in the wellness center, and nice variety. Facility is clean and the front desk staff are very helpful.
