I am happy to be greeted by friendly smiling faces when I enter the Y. I love being greeted verbally when i arrive. It may not sound like much but it is very powerful for me. After a day’s work i have to really force myself to go work out. When i make it through the Y door, the warmth of people welcomes me in and i feel at home.
Friendly greetings upon entry is the singular reason i love the Y over any health club.
I have always loved the Y because it offers a variety of programs at a very reasonable price. I liked it especially when my son was younger and he took part in several activities including camp and swimming and, I could also find a workout class to attend, as well. I've lived in a couple of different states so the Y was always a good place to start. It's a wonderful organization!
The staff are so friendly! Neither of my children had any complaints about summer camp counselors which is a plus!
