No matter who is sitting at deck when I walk in, I get a friendly greeting. The members are polite and considerate about sharing the various equipment. The Y facility is always sparkling clean.

We love the flexibility of the Y especially for swimming with our kids. Is there ever a time that it is just open swim and no lap swim? Our kids just like to come to swim but we always feel bad/intrusive when there are a lot of lap swimmers and even some lap swimmers in the open swim area. We understand it is open for all but we want to be mindful of the others too. I just don’t want to feel like my kids are annoying other guests. 😊 it would be nice if maybe once a month on an evening was dedicated for “family swim”.

This YMCA is fortunate to be the only one in Michigan with the EGYM system. Many classes offered.
One complaint - the locker room shower stalls and walls are not cleaned of scum build-up or sanitized. Are the locker room floors sanitized?
I love the pleasant atmosphere and the EGym.
At 83 yrs old, attending my group classes three times a week is helping me to stay active and strong.
