There is a very positive community atmosphere at the S Oakland Y. The management sets the tone for the staff who make everyone feel welcome. I appreciate and participate in many of the classes, which has had a huge impact on my physical and mental wellbeing. I wouldn’t be able attend classes if there were extra fees for them. I am grateful for the Y.
All of the staff are exceptionally welcoming, professional, energetic, and kind. It is a community though loose. The lifeguards are particularly great patient observant, encouraging and friendly.

I like the AOA and chair yoga. That's all I've participated in.
The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful; I look forward to greeting them every time I arrive.
Also, the equipment is well-stocked and everything I need for my workout is always available (except maybe, occasionally, balance balls, when they are being used by a class).
It is convenient, clean and the staff is cordial. I like the array of choices for exercise.

Facility is nice and clean. Staff is very friendly, welcoming and always ready to listen and assist. Instructors are very competent and make sure they teach by meeting members where they are. Especially enjoy the Active Older Adult classes.

Great family friendly place to gather for lots of activities. Excellent offering of swimming and numerous other fitness classes. The wellness center, features EGYM. It is top rated. Childcare is available for times listed. The staff and instructors are welcoming and very knowledgeable. I do not have anything negative to say about my Y membership!
Egym has been a life changing experience for my health and wellness. Terrific summer camps for my children. Plenty of opportunity for community engagement.
