the ymca is very close and to my home making it easy to get to. the facility is clean and well kept and generally comfortable and quiet. since i primarily use the weight machines i like that they are kept in very good working condition and that i find them always available to use.
there are two issues that keep me from giving the "y" a ten:
#1- is the sound level during some of the other group exercise like zumba. the volume seems to be very, very loud. i understand that it's meant to provide a level of energy to the participants but it does if have to be as loud? i have to crank up the volume of my earbuds to max volume to hear.
#2 - there seems to be a lack of disinfectant spray bottles in use and some of those have very little fluid in them. last friday i counted two for the area around the weight machines.
other than that, i really enjoy the carls family ymca.

I'm participating in the cancer survivor fitness program. Rebecca is great. The YMCA is a lovely facility with great workout equipment.

The Y is the perfect place for me. As a senior, having suffered a stroke, cancer in remission, and other health issues, swimming has rejuvenated me. Even after a bout with COVID, swimming has enable me to regain my strength and stamina with lap swims. It is easy on the joints and great cardiovascular exercise. Thank you for being there!!
